I go back to the UK for the festive period.. I come back shortly afterwards... but apart from seeing a couple of friends and my Nana..

 

I am not looking forward too it. I was once so very proud to come from Manchester.. I had gone on and on about it, however now I have made new friends and I love the place I live so much..

 

Please help, how can I keep myself in a postive set when I go back, when I call my friend in the UK nada has changed, they still moan about the same things etc... problems of which don´t exsit over here..

 

If it was not for my nanas birthday I would not go at all.

i was not looking forward to going home either but for different reasons i suppose.

 

all i can tell you is try to make the best of it and see the people who matter to you.

at least you can understand where your friends our coming from because you have lived in the uk pretty much all your life. it's obvious that most of your friends lives haven't changed as much as yours. if you say that you no longer have those problems, it shows once again that it was the right decision for you to move to spain.

 

i hope you can enjoy your time in manchester anyway.

Well, I don't know if this helps, but I'd give anything to be able to go back there. I loved it there, and I miss the peple I met. So maybe if you think about the people that can't be there, you'll feel a bit luckier that you can be.

Fuck it... the friends I have over there are able bodied people, if they want to come and see me they can come out there bubbled lives and come and see me.. since being here 15 months ago, I made 3 trips to Manchester.

As regards of my Nana she lives in a different part in the UK and is pretty old now, so I will take a quick trip (over night trip) every now and again...

Yea. they were pretty pissed home. Most people went home crying.. however stayed on for a few more pints...

 

Hey people I landed in Manchester and had not even got of the plane, and so Dick started giving me the warmest of welcomes.. and said" who the fuck are you lookng at.. " for just looking in his direction. I said nothing. Thinking back I should have said something in Spanish, let hi hit me and got him arrested.. I guess in this stone age the inbrea would have been put down for a while...
