I shook hand with a god called Matthew James Bellamy,so it was definitely the best year of my life in fact that moment has been the sending of my life so I can clearly say the mission of my life is accomplished:D

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

next time you see Matt please tell him that I love him

I met Coldplay and Travis and just that makes 2007 a great year

I was so busy complaining in my last post that I forgot one of the best things about 2007...

Wi did it...We actually did it!!:D:D:D

ohhh, i fogot to include falling in love with radiohead on my list of good things! that was DEFINITELY a plus!

other than that, though, this has been the least musical year i've had in a while. which was pretty sad.

I don't really know if this year was good or bad...i feel it had both equal positives and negatives.

I'm saving that to my computer for future use :sneaky:

2007 has been great....and to finish it off I'm buying myself 5 albums online with gift vouchers people gave me for my birthday!!!

Ugh,i hate buying albums online,i like to have something physical when parting with cash.

ok, totally random, but i'm the SAME way. i'm an aspiring writer as well (i'm also going to college for it) and...its just nice to hear that someone has similar habits as mine. people generally think i'm a nutjob for not letting anyone read any of my stuff. and i can never handle short stories: too constricting.
Yeah it's pretty normal for writers. Though one could argue that being a writer isn't a normal state to begin with...

Though I do have to say, workshopping and feedback is really important because other people can point out massive blind spots you never would have looked for otherwise. Some really great books have been written that way- like the Inklings' works (Lord of the Rings, Narnia), Frankenstein, and even Fight Club. Short stories are great practice too, even if they are annoyingly hard, because they teach you how to avoid the dreaded info dump- killer of many a good story.

Anyway, nice to meet another writer. Good luck with your work. ;)

I've done a bit of amteur writing my self, and short stories are indeed much harder bacause you don't have a lot of room to move. And as far as clearing out the crap before you can write the good stuff goes, truer words were never spoken, lol.

Once those little puzzle peices start fitting together, you'll be blown away. Those 'Eureeka!' moments make it all worth while.:)

Thanks :nice: that really does help.

Buying actual CDs via a service like Amazon or just buying the tracks online via a service like iTunes?

Online tracks davey.

I try and avoid buying online albums if possible, preferring an actual CD.

Yep I am the same....

I like cd's too.. and it seems that santa brought me cd's this year

This year was so blah. The only people who seemed to have the most fun were the celebrities smoking crack and rehab hopping. :dozey: I hope 2008 is better, more exciting. I'll be a senior in high school soon and I feel so... i don't know, empty. I want my last two years of high school to be memorable and exciting.

I tend to buy music online that I don't really care if I have the cover art of...but if I really want that actual CD, I buy it off Sanity.com.au

This year was intense to say the least. But I learned so much next year is going to be amazing, I got an apartment in Gainesville and im going to college their. I don't have many favorite moments from this last year, Just one, when I saw someone I care a lot about for the first time in almost a year. But i have set the stage for a great 2008.

I liked 2007.

I hope 2008 will be better though...

^^ LMAO. at the hottub sex

Gosh I feel kind of bad for saying this but

2007 was absolutely fantastic to me and those around me.

My little brother graduated from high school, my parents ran two marathons, I took this incredible class in the summer: human prosection lab . Then went on to graduate from Michigan State University. And these last two semesters I was also working two jobs, when they say hard work really pays off, they are right.

I've met some of my closest friends just this year through work. Got to finally go to a gig with Mandy! We stalked Bright Eyes.

2007 on scale of 1-10. Was an 8.0

I think 2008 is going to be a little harder. I have to find a real job to take up my time until I start going to school for radiation therapy. BUT of course Coldplay will be touring so that can make up for it all!!

Coldplay probably won't be getting to Australia until 2009 so I've got a year or two's wait...

I'll do one more overview and that's it:

January:

Went back to Malaysia for about 2 weeks

February

Went back to school, met my best friend Beatrix, met my crappy english teacher

March:

Met new people, more Homework

April

EJ tore up a rose one of the boys in my class gave her, our friendship ended teporarily

May:

More stuff, Beatrix and I went to a Christmas in July party

August:

Learnt how to say August in French, Japanese and English :P

September:

Went a a Ballet with someone I hate, caught a cold

October:

November:

Came here, registered and turned 15!! Also, my friendship with Beatrix ended temporarily when she abandon me for a girl who is very supperficial. Got over cold

December:

Beatrix and I became good friends again, met Verity and Kassidy, new friends, Christmas!!!

Yay! Bye now!!

2007 was alright. Moving my ma from home to the nursing home has been a bummer, but not all is lost. She's getting excellent care, and isn't quite so lonely, so that's better for her.

What did I do this year?? It all went so fast! Lots of dreaming, and some accomplishments - had a good vegetable garden; plenty of frozen veggies for the winter; Helped a couple of people in need; spent time pursuing some interests, like home energy systems for the future and following the mining issues.. ;volunteered for the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in Custer, WI (largest in the world!); Successfully restored an early 19th or late 18th century tea table; and I finally committed myself to energy self-sufficiency (late, but in earnest). Oh, and I came up with another couple of tunes on our old piano, which some day I hope to get onto the computer (if I ever get the right equipment).
