Will anyone of you buy the single when it finally comes out??I know Coldplay have never got a no1(absolute madness i telll ye),even though it dosent mean anything,but ive never bought a single ever and id like contribute towards Coldplay getting no1 because id think itd be really nice. So i think i will buy the single along with the album of course. But who would and who wouldnt?

I think ravrat means the first single from the new album, not the overall first single.

 

It depends on what is out the same week, if there is another crazy frog then no, but if it's a quiet week on the new releases front and there isn't any overall massive song when it gets released, than it is possible for coldplay to score their first uk number 1 single

i will buy the single the second i see it. usually i download them off itunes, but because it's coldplay i'll also buy the physical CD and/or 7". i bought "speed of sound" and "fix you" in 2005 on CD, and downloaded all the others from the nifty digital media section of the old coldplay.com store. and then of course, i bought the singles box set.

 

but b-sides make me inordinately happy. the prospect (hah) of new material in any form gets me, and so i ALWAYS buy the singles in some form simply for the b-sides.

If theres a Recordstore bundle with the CD and 7" etc then I'll buy it.

I've never bought the singles before, but It's been so long since the last one that I'll buy it for the B-sides.

If it's a track from the album, I'll probably not buy it. But if it's only released as a single only before the album comes out, I'm almost certain I'll get it somehow.
