hey so the toronto area had a big snowfall the last few days. it took my dad nearly 3 hours to shovel the driveway so he could get to work. here's some pictures i took around the area since it was really nice out. just random scenery things. and snow piles.

 

now a lot of it's really slushy, like the roads.

yeah it was really nice. i love walking at night and seeing the snow glitterning, it really looks like millions of diamonds. quite the sight, especially when the snow hasn't been touched. i love freshly fallen snow.

we had so much snow this winter. at least 120cm and that's double what we had last year.

too bad it's getting warmer now so the snow gets REALLY wet and disgusting :(

 

But freshly fallen snow rocks! The only bad thing about it is that i have to be the first one to walk in there so it's me who gets her shoes wet.

Australia really gets little to no snow in most places, and its summer here now atm, so...in some ways I envy you, but I enjoy the heat:D

Wow! Beautiful! We never get snow like that here. We just get a thin layer that instantly turns to slush and even that causes mass panic :P

over those days though i don't know how much it was exactly. those days were nice. now we're getting a massive chill. like SO. FUCKING. COLD. -17C without the windchill. with windchill it was about -30C today and yesterday. oh mann. brutal

gah, i miss snow. in connecticut we get a decent amount (though not as much as canada), but now i'm in central pennsylvania for uni and the weather seems perpetually grey and rainy. it snows here sometimes, but not too much i guess. it makes me sad...AND we havent seen the sun in like a week.

this year i haven´t seen much snow.. usually i used to go snowboarding but this winter is really hard! i cannot go boarding (no money)!! and in hamburg city it doesn´t snow often..
