it has to be a well known cp song, and kinda hard, perhaps talk or in my place, yellow, shiver

shiver would be hard, but that's a good one. also daylight, yellow, fix you (well, not really...only at the end), talk...there are lots. why havent they done this before? i think they would make the perfect guitar hero songs!!

if you check the threads i've created, someone did a custom guitar hero version of talk, and i have it from youtube. check it out...

They need to do more good songs in guitar hero. 3 was better than 2, but it can be a lot better.

They should do Just by radiohead and hysteria by muse... that would be sick

I am now totally convinced that "Shiver" belongs in the Guitar Hero series. It's one of Coldplay's best songs (in my opinion) and looks very fun to play in the game.

 

The only other one that I think might work is "Crests Of Waves", but I'm not sure.

 

I feel like "Going For The One" by Yes would be perfect... anybody else?

they wouldn't put crest of waves in there, it would have to be a more well known song..

 

i don't know that song but knowing yes i'm sure it would be good, especially with their bassist being nasty

ooh, crests of waves!! i know they wouldnt put that on there because only coldplay geeks like us probably care about it, but that would be a killer one to have on there.

 

shiver, like i say, would be absolutely brillo, but would probably only be worth it at the more difficult levels.

Shiver would be great. Spies or Daylight would be great, but they'd have to have some sort of slide effect. Don't Panic is good too, but a bit slow and too short I'd imagine.

 

And if they didn't mind more obscure songs, Only Superstition.

 

If they ever did have a Coldplay song on Guitar Hero though, it'd probably be In My Place, because it's really the only guitar-led hit they've had (Besides 'Talk'), but it'd be really easy.

They might do 'Fix You' too, but only the bridge. Haha! Could you imagine only have a section of a song?

problem with coldplay songs in guitar hero, is yhat guitar hero wants songs with very prominent electric guitar throughout...I've thought about it and I can't think of anything that would work for non-coldplay fans.

Not even GPASUYF, me thinks. I mean, the verses are almost entirely acoustic guitar which wouldn't work in a game like this. Jonny's part is absent for the first 46 seconds, and after that short little riff there's nothing until the chorus...

This might sound harsh, but Jonny isn't good enough of a guitarist to be in Guitar Hero. He doesn't have the kind of intricate or memorable riffs that are really necessary for a game of that style.

 

I mean, it took Muse something BETTER than Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome to get them put into the game. Coldplay, as they stand currently, don't have a prayer of being in there.

 

Now I loathe Guitar Hero, so I see that as a good thing. I love Knights of Cydonia to death, but I can't stand to hear it mutilated all the time. Coldplay should just stay as far from that game as possible, in my opinion.

I'm so bad at those games. If I'm bad at it, Coldplay should have nothing to do with it. :P
