Would you rather meet a celebrity or somebody off of Coldplaying?

Would you rather meet a celebrity or somebody off of Coldplaying?

So for me the top celebrities I would want to meet would be Thom Yorke, Bono, and Ed O'Brien.

But given the choice between Thom Yorke and say Nina for example...I think I would pick a coldplayer. I mean you would know the other person a little better already, and I think it would mean more to both people. Meeting a celebrity is such a temporary thing, but if you met a Coldplayer I think it would be more lasting.

Well, I'd give at least one more option to this poll but okay.

I'd rather meet a coldplayer since i know this meeting wouldn't be just one of those people you randomly meet.

i mean, you CAN meet a celebrity and make something special for them, like a picture or a bra to Thom Yorke, but he receives thousands of such things and you'd be just one out of a million.

That couldn't happen with a coldplayer, but i'm not really sure.

a coldplayer... it'd be great

ok.. I was twice in the same concerts as Ren (coldplay and travis shows last year)... and in the last one I was looking for him everywhere but I don't really know how he looks like so I couldn't find him :uhoh:

maybe he was hiding :bigcry:

awwwwww a Coldplayer....I've already met *Sarah*, but there are sooo many others I'd LOVE to meet (Lore, Rolle, Sofia, Eric, Renny,...)

let's have a party then!

I have met celebs and I have met Coldplayers....only the Coldplayers call me at home though. :P

let's have a party then!

Yeesh i wanna meet a coldplayer

I seriously think we all should gather up somewhere to have a huge party!

Or then i'm gonna have a trip aaall around Europe and go meet all the coldplayers i know and then i'd be off to South-America to hang out with Renny and Lore, oolala that's life :cool3:

swing up to Canada too eh?

^Please do!

Like Angie, I've met both too (well, I met a Coldplayer on the phone), and I'd definitely rather meet you guys. It would be more meaningful in the long run. If I met Chris, the first thing I'd do is give him our CD. When I was getting all the sound bytes for it from you guys, it was almost like meeting you, and you were all in the studio in a small way.

I would like to meet a Coldplayer! :)

*looks at melanieau*

only if the coldplayers from Canada decide to be nice enough to me :nice:

Ooh, and i'll expect all of the people i'll meet (well okay..coldplayers only) to buy me a drink or two..or three

I tend to agree. There are plenty of nice ones :D

This is exactly what I wanted to say. You can meet a celeb and realize one of your goals in life, but meeting and actually talking with a coldplayer -> priceless. I met a coldplayer this way, too, and it's one of better things that were going on last year  and i say this without any exaggeration :)

Coldplayer, definitely.

You can't really become a friend of a celebrity...well, you could, but that would take time that a celebrity doesn't have unless you say something really interesting to them off the bat.

If I met the celebrity I want to meet, I'd vomit on their shoes. It runs in the family.

If I met a normal Coldplaying person, I'd be okay and be able to carry on a normal conversation. Without the vomit. I'd be able to be myself. =D

Ohh it would be sooo awesome to meet a Coldplayer! I guess there's a chance of seeing somebody at the next NYC radiohead or coldplay concert (chelsea, justin?)

(Not saying that meeting Thom Yorke wouldn't be cool...)

Maybe one day there will be a celebrity coldplayer :glasses2:

anna, chelsea- if you guys are at a coldplay, radiohead, or muse concert in NYC, i'd meet up with you!:)(unless i'm there with my dad who wouldn't trust me to go talk to someone i met on the internet:P

Definately rather a coldplayer, because i actually know you guys. Celebrities are cool, but i have no relationship with them

yeah you know my mom wouldn't let me talk to somebody i met off the internet either but maybe i could say i know you cause you're a friend of a friend that i met at a party .... idk ... just a little white lie :uhoh:

I'm old enough that my parents wouldn't care.

haha, that might work. If the situation comes up we'll figure something out. Hopefully i'll be going with friends and then it that case it wouldn't be an issue
