I don't understand why you have such a big problem with people getting excited over a new album from their favorite band. Its a Coldplay forum for goodness sake, what else were you expecting? March 4, 200818 yr *sigh* :rolleyes: an album sounding kind of like blue room would make my LIFE! but i don't think that fits in with the whole "new direction" tagline, unfortunately. but i think my favorite coldplay stuff is the soft, early acoustic, like "see you soon" and "careful where you stand" etc. a return to that sort of thing is fine by me! though i know lots of other people would be disappointed and would rag on them for being the same.

This isn't your forum and of course there are some younger and/or more excitable members, but you're just going to have to deal with that cos because bitching and provoking members, some of whom contribute a hell of a lot, isn't doing you any favours. We all love Coldplay that's why we're here, and there's a lot of very interesting articles and pieces of news being posted here at the moment, lets just enjoy them and play nicely.
March 4, 200818 yr ^agreed. i was thinking about this today a lot, actually. i'm excited for the new direction, but i hope its still "coldplay." so far it doesn't really sound like it'll be unrecognizable, which is good. but there's always that worry... Don't worry. Even if they're taking a "new direction" they have their own "signature" ;)
