so, now I have a serious question...should I really be considered a binge drinker if I drink mostly on fridays and saturdays?

binge drinker sound so erm...negative!

That is what blnge drinkers are, they drink to excess on certain days of the week.

Nooooo. Twice a week is nothing unusual. Most drinkers will drink over the weekend. Don't worry

haha thanks Mimi:nice:

hm....well, but it's not like in the UK....there people drink far more than people do in germany because they only can stay in clubs until 2am (is that right?) and here I usually go home at 5 or 6 in the morning....so I can drink the whole night-...

The law changed recently so alcohol is served for longer now. But us Brits are the worst for drinking.

Anything in excess is dangerous I know, but life is for living, Viva la Vida and all that and I can't see the harm in spending a few nights a week drinking whilst you're young. :D

that's true. I mean I'm not an excessive drinker....I enjoy maybe 2 beer too much, but when I relaise that it is too much then I stop....when I was a bit younger everybody was so into drinking and smoking and stuff and I wasn't....and when I look back now I am happy on the one hand that I didn't really drink at the age of erm let's say 16 and on the other hand I think it was rather boring....but 20 is the perfect age...

There is some harm, £100 fines if you require an ambulance to take you to hospital due to excessively drinking, as your removing an ambulance from service for a period of time.

The '24 hour' drinking, it has helped a bit as there is no longer a kicking out time.

That's why I said excess is dangerous :P

But what do you call moderation?

Everybody has different limits, an amount which could knock someone out could be nothing to someone else.
