FADE IN

Chris and Jonny are sitting in the studio by themselves working on a song. late at night.

Chris yawns. CHRIS: Have you ever tried tuna fish?

Jonny looks up from his notebook. He looks puzzled. JON: W…what?

CHRIS: Tuna fish. It’s an amazing invention. It’s fish in a can, with some water. Quite tasty.

JON: Your stupidity amazes me.

Chris looks shocked. CHRIS: Well that’s just mean. Hey, my birthday’s in two days!

Jon sighs. JON: Happy early birthday.

CHRIS: Thank you. You know what you should get me?

JON: What’s that?

CHRIS: Tuna fish.

Jon slams his hand on his notebook and chuckles. JON: What is with your obsession with tuna fish?

Chris looks up with a dreamy face. CHRIS: I honestly don’t know. Maybe I should write a song.

JON: Why don’t you do that.

Chris walks over to the piano, sits down, and plays a key. CHRIS: Tuna, oh tuna fish!

JON: Okay, we need to get some work done, or Phil’s going to be pissed.

CHRIS: Just give him some tuna, he won’t mind.

JON: What is wrong with you?

Chris grabs a random can of tuna out of his pocket and opens it. CHRIS: Come on, just try it!

Jon looks puzzled, but he wants to see what all the fuss is about, so he takes a bite. His face lights up. JON: Ey, this ain’t too bad. Ain’t to bad at all!

Chris grins from ear to ear. CHRIS: I told you!

Chris and Jon sit at the piano and begin the song ‘Tuna Fish’ again.

FADE OUT

Chris: *shaking Will's arm*: Will, I'm scared...

 

Will: *Just awakening* Of what?

 

Chris: You.

I think I'm gonna write a better fanfic this time...

Are these stuff all fiction?

When I first read the article about Chris getting temporarily kicked out of the studio, the first thing that came to mind was a potential fanfic where Chris returns from his promos to find Brian Eno in the studio, wearing a Chris wig and singing in falsetto. When Brian notices Chris he throws off the wig, starts talking anxiously explaining what's gone on in the past week and then finds a way of pushing Chris out of the bakery and locking the door.

Then when the other band members come in from the other, Eno tells them that Chris has decided to go solo for now on.

 

The idea is that Eno is secretly trying fulfill his rockstar dreams by taking Chris's place in the band, and a whole elaborate plays out where Chris attempts to get his band back from the insidious Eno.

 

I don't have the time, interest or energy to actual write a full-blown fic. But I thought I'd share the idea...
