Hello all! I am excited to get to know people and have some interesting discussions.

My name is Carolyn and I am 31 years old. I'm a full time student and work for a medical records company.

I am glad to be here! :D

Hello Carolyn!!! Welcome to the board!! :nice:

It's Violet Hill fever!

Hi there!:)

Glad to have another "old" person (like me - I'm 31, too) on the board!

Hello Carolyn ! Welcome to the board ! :)

And 31 it's not "old" ! It's the new 20 ;)

Welcome Carolyn. You've come as it's getting all exciting :D

It's actually strange for me. I have been a participant in a message board similar to this for the Dave Matthews Band in the last six years. Whenever a new album would be released, there would be this huge surge of new accounts on the boards. I would always get irritated with the so-called 'newbies' that asked downright silly questions and would not engage in intellectual discourse about the band or their direction.

Now the shoe is on the other foot. I hope that I don't come off as the DMB newbies did to me.

Haha, you have previous messageboard experience though, so I think you'll fit in just fine :D

Thank you, Thalia.

I've heard that statement a lot since I entered my thirties. Perhaps by the time I make it to my forties, I'll actually believe it! :laugh3:

Hopefully! :)

I've been perusing the forums and have enjoyed hearing about some new music. I think it's treally awesome that this is an international community. There were a few international members on the DMB boards, but they predominantly consisted of Americans.

Yeah, we have people from all over the world, which is nice, and whilst most love Coldplay we have some people who are indifferent to them and just come here because they like it. They contribute a lot to the music and lounge sections :D

Thank you, Thalia.

I'm heading to the other side of Lake Michigan tomorrow. Hopefully it is as nice there as it has been here the past two days. :D

Enjoy the warm breezes down in the banana belt, then!:)

Welcome Carolyn!

Wow, interesting profession you seem to have. I'm considering studying something related to medicine as well in a couple of months, it really interests me.

The rest of us are glad to have you here with us, I'm sure.
