o.0 zomg how could you say that....congratulations was a grower and by far more complex and just overall amazing than OS. It was easily the best album of the year IMO.

Bryce have MGMT announced any Aussie shows? weird that they're playing 2 shows in NZ but no australian dates.

 

And yeah, Congratulations was pretty terrible. It was like they were trying to be clever/experimental/whatever but it just sounded like a mess :blank:

^I don't think they have Eddie. Which is strange. They might announce sideshows yet for the Future Music Festival thats on in March but I haven't heard anything yet.

They just tried to be themselves and show their influences and didn't make any hits like Kids or Time to Pretend on purpose.:blank:

Me too. I've heard a lot of bad reviews about it that it scares me a bit. But I'll definitely get to it later.

At first I wasn't sure if I would like it as much as Oracular, but really..when you've listened it a few times it just keeps growing and growing and gets better every time you hear it.

Although the album actually is a concept album..when you listen no.1, you want to listen the whole album. And when it's finished, start again :)

I personally like Flash Delirium.

I don't have Congratulations though, I was thinking of getting it for Christmas.

i agree with destrokk, i still prefer oracular spectacular thought i've listened congratulations more times this year.

Maybe some people or even the band itself regard Congratulations as the true color of them, but as a personal preference, I think Oracular Spectacular is way better.
