anastasia.

well, ok, my dad refused to let me have such a russian name, so it's ann on my birth certificate. but it's supposed to be after my grandma (and all the other 11 anastasia's in my family...) so i like to say it's anastasia because that's what it's supposed to be ;). it was supposed to be my first name, actually, and i wish it was.

Elizabeth....

.........first, we have our first names in common..

but now.. we have out MIDDLE NAMES in common..

i'm starting to get a little scared by this. :stunned: :stunned:

Meunier? That's my friend's LAST name haha

Thats too funny! :) It was my grandmother's maiden name..I love it,it is SO uncommon (especially here in the states)

oh wait ... i do kinda have a second name - you know that baptist thingy when you're given a saint's name? but mine's for a man and no one around here uses their name given at this occasion.

:dozey:

No one around here uses their real names anyway.

whoa! what do they use then? nicknames?

What a smartass......

Whatever, Rick. I was just asking because I was interested in it and you really didn't have to reply in a rude way.

I thought you were mocking my reply saying it was obvious people were not using their real names.....

Now you know that I wasn't.

I know that generally people call their friends by nicknames, but I still prefer if they call me by my name. Unfortunately, my surname and some of my characteristics are so specific, that calling me "Nina" is quite rare at times. :p

Yeah i guess I am the same,i don't like it when someone i don't know well calls me by a nickname,it's really only friends and family who should use them. There is lot's of nicknames you can get out of Richard..:p including my screenname on here....

i would like my middle name to be something really bold and powerful...but my middle name just makes me seem posh! :(

Yep, it's true! Unless that person gives you a nickname but then again - they don't really know you so it's not a-OK. But it really depends on who the person is and what the joke's about if there's any.

Richard & Rick are cool. I like these (nick)names. ;) You should be proud of having a nice english name :)

But the weirdest name I know is Dantes. O_o

Yeah i have two other names that I don't use,i changed my first name a long time ago, because i hated it,and i still hate it now.

whoa, really? i doubt i'd ever change my first name. It's ME, you know? But it's true that if you don't identify with it, then you can change it. :)

I kinda know someone whose name was Barbara and she changed it to Barbra because that additional "a" gave her bad energy. :dozey: THAT's lame.

Anyways ... gotta run. have fuun! ;)

Okay,catch ya later.

I have three first names, but I only use one of them.....
