July 9, 200322 yr Pavement At the Drive In (though Mars Volta & Sparta will suffice i guess) Dead Kennedys Soundgarden Rage Against the Machine (I'm just not feelin' this audioslave thing) Jesus Lizard Pixies Archers of Loaf Refused so Janes Addiction are back but they haven't impressed me yet :? anyone else?
July 9, 200322 yr Author just noticed, this thread has appeared twice, it seems to be multiplying, in fact i've tapped into all threads and soon will take over...have a pleasant day  i think i should open a window and let some air in  :D
July 9, 200322 yr Smashing Pumpkins... I'm really not feelin this ZWAN thing... and Ben Folds Five, I really like Ben Fold's solo stuff... but I want them to get back together...
July 9, 200322 yr Author yeah i'm not down with the ZWAN thing either...give me back my Pumpkins :) in fact i want old school garrrunge back, where's Tad and the Screaming Trees! I want Mudhoney going back & doing more songs like Touch Me I'm Sick...anybody know the Mono Men, they need to reform and save garage rock. but please tell me Stone Temple Pilots are still lurking
July 9, 200322 yr i'll second ben folds five, they broke up as soon as they made their best album... i can't think of anybody else. but i will say that i like the mars volta a lot more than at the drive-in, so i don't particularly want them back together.
July 9, 200322 yr Author of all the people in the above bands now doing other things I think Mars Volta are the best going. the Monorchid, they were a pretty good punk band that split..uhh let's see...are Sebadoh still together? They sorta fell off towards the end...seeing them back could be interesting, i've liked Folk Implosion but it's just not the same as old school Seb...the Lemonheads :P ...can't think of any more right now.
July 10, 200322 yr The Smashing Pumpkins are the first thing on my lips, and I AM feeling the Zwan thing. Shows how good they were... Soundgarden is the 2nd thing. And if I cant settle for that then just get Cornell to do another beautiful solo album, Euphoria Morning is just brilliant, and Im really digging the Audioslave album but it doesnt measure up to Euphoria Morning. I'd still take Down on the Upside or Superunknown over it, but I like Eurphoria Morning more. Its kinda hard to explain, I want a Soundgarden back in music, it'd make me sleep better. Cornell by himself would also be very sweet, and Audioslave.. Well I cant complain, its much better than a lot of stuff right now.
July 10, 200322 yr Author I'd take BadMotorFinger over SuperUnknown personally, but yeah any SG would be in order most definitely
July 10, 200322 yr Whoever wanted the Pixies, according to this new interview that may be happening. Check XFM (Im sure theres a website) for details.
July 10, 200322 yr Its looking pretty likely dude, the Pixies still meet up and shit and practive (Shock in itself) but get this, he said the only thing theyre scared of is- people not showing up at their concert! I mean fuck man, jeesus...
July 11, 200322 yr Author yeah, as if  i'd give an inconsequential internal organ to science to see them! i missed 'em before, i saw Frank Black w/ the Catholics at Reading one year, the crowd started chanting you fat bastard at him
July 11, 200322 yr Matthew Good needs to reform the Matthew Good Band and SAVE Canuck alternative rock music!
July 11, 200322 yr True, that's one reformation that I'd love to see! Even more than the New Kids if you can believe it
July 11, 200322 yr Yea. Ever since Matt Good had multiple panic attacks and went crazy for about a year. The music in Canada started turning into pop-rock music! Avril Lavigne..... Simple Plan....... Not By Choice..... Treble Charger.
July 11, 200322 yr Yeah, apparently all he did for a whole year was stay in his house and write.
July 11, 200322 yr Author LOL@New Kids! hahaha dude what about a big hair metal revival:shock: :P Motley Crue!! hahaha Guns & Roses (original line up) Huey Lewis & the news
