Holand's been impressive so far. I just think teams like Italy or Germany are gonna turn up when it actually matters. I wouldn't mind Holland to win the tournament, they'd deserve it if they keep playing the way they did in the group stages. Most local people seem to support them too. Just not Germany please [sorry to anyone who is German]. Them winning a tournament in Switzerland and Austria be just as disappointing as Switzerland being out after two games. Personally I want Spain to win it now.

It's like German people wouldn't normally support Holland.

 

I honestly can't remember that. I actually remember having a conversation about the said stanza during the game. Someone said they liked Germany's national anthem and someone else said they didn't like this stanza. Many people think that it's still a part of your national anthem.

 

German tabloids weren't much better though representing Austrian players as sausages and things like that.
