May 29, 200818 yr so ladies and gents, another pointless thread, but a thread nonetheless. what do you think of your chances of getting a ticket for the UK tour as they go on sale tomorrow?
May 29, 200818 yr very high. especially through ticket master as they're on sale half an hour earlier for the london shows. and because there is TWO shows. so, don't worry about it :)
May 29, 200818 yr really? that sucks. I've never seen them live so I'm psyched! and plus, we could still win the free tickets to the brixton show!! :D did you enter for them?
May 29, 200818 yr It couldnt come at a worse time for me :( I got no money atm, was hoping they wouldnt be on sale so soon, theres a small chance my mate might buy 2 tickets so theres a little hope. Any chance that coldplay will return to UK for a 2nd time or not? (I want tickets to Birmingham one)
May 29, 200818 yr The free brixton gig if you entered? you might win a pair of tickets! :) I think If I on a pair, I would give the other ticket to somebody off here who didn't win :)

I've never seen them live so I'm psyched! and plus, we could still win the free tickets to the brixton show!! :D did you enter for them? yeah i missed out, i was trying that morning to get tickets but i couldnt however i have seen them at wembley, earls court and palace. not too bad i dont spose and yeah i did enter for brixton. that would be my dream, fav band in my fav venue!
May 29, 200818 yr By the way, are the seats you get totally random? I mean I'll be happy with anything, but I'm going through ticketmaster and I was wondering how all this thing about seats works. Im being very vague I know, but I don't know enough about it to be specific :P
May 29, 200818 yr Ah i see, thanks... And I'm guessing the further forward you pick, the less chance you have of getting a seat? Or is this AFTER you're guaranteed a seat? Sorry for being persistent, I feel a little unprepared :P
May 29, 200818 yr I'm guessing off logic, but I'd say you pick where you wanna sit, then put in your details, then pay. lol
May 29, 200818 yr From my experience from the American/Australian ticketmaster (same company/website) you pick a price level (standing close, standing far away, sitting lower tier, sitting upper tier, restricted view, etc) and you get a randomly allocated seat(s) somewhere in that block or blocks. Of course I always go back and try again, its risky but its worked for me before. :sneaky:

Sorry for being persistent, I feel a little unprepared :P From browsing soon after tix go on sale on See, they normally just say Best Seats available (then they randomly allocate after - remember this happening for Muse at Wembley Stadium, where some people ordered for example at 9.01 and ended up with crap seats though...Main reason for that was prob that blocks, seats etc weren't fully assigned. Think its usually first come first served in allocating what they think are best seats). If you're lucky it will give you a block. Ticketmaster are much better and normally tell you the block, row and seat number before you order. Hope that helps.

May 30, 200818 yr Yeah, looks like they go on sale at 30 mins past the hour for london shows after all. It sucks that you're not allowed to refresh too many times :dozey: :P

May 30, 200818 yr who says you cant refresh? Says Ticketmaster, who prevented me from viewing the page for about 5 minutes after I refreshed it 10 times in like 45 seconds. I wouldn't recommend trying it just before sale, because it could be detremental to your chances.
May 30, 200818 yr :laugh3: - it's not even 9 yet! nevermind 9.30 :PI know :P But I'm glad I found out sooner rather than later. Damn I should never have even said anything
