I seen them at V2001 aswell, which site did you go to, Stafford or Chelmsford? I went to Stafford that year and they were amazing, the sun was out all day and their slot was the perfect afternoon slot :D

Yeah, we were at Stafford as well. That really was a beautiful day, apart from a bit of rain when the Foo Fighters were on. Think they were on after Placebo if I remember. Really enjoyed that one.

The thing is, they know that there are people out there who are either really desperate, really stupid, or have too much money for their own good. Until people stop using them altogether , they're not going to go away.

After the last tour I did suggest that anyone on here who was able to should take their maximum allocation and then sell them on at face-value to regular posters on here who needed them.

It wouldn't have stopped all the greed-mongers, but it might have made a difference to some extent.;)

Well done mate, dont know how you did that. Why do these sites say sold out at 10.30am and then allow you to buy almost 12 hours later? Then again, I was trying to buy for London which always sells out in no time.

 

presumably as they start to check credit card details and numbers of tickets bought, they start to become available again where there have been errors or the sale has been refused by the card company

I may have 2 spare tickets as well, but I'd never dream of selling them on for profit.

 

On another band board that I go on, a big group of us got together for the last tour and kind of allocated dates to people, and bought out the maximums for the dates, so that we could all get the tickets we wanted, and any spare, we passed on to people on the board that had been unlucky. It worked pretty well.
