Which show did you get tickets for?

Well it's different depending on the venue, at the ACC I am pretty sure the "seating" (as if anyone would sit) on the floor is segmented 6 ways. There are three sections each for left, right and center, presumably fenced. Unfortunately none of the charts indicate where the rows fall in any of the sections, but I am rows 36 and 38 so just based on logic I'm likely in the third section, but this is still fairly close I think and I'm tall anyway. :p

SO my friend just got us another two tickets, so we managed to get 3 pairs total, trying to decide which ones to keep and then selling the other pair

 

should i keep the floors row 40 OR section 104 row 30 - at the ACC in Toronto

 

i was around section 104 last time and these ARE further back, but i'm short. so row 40 floors, would i be able to see. I've always wanted floors. They're both the same price so which ones should we keep?

Ya, it kind of sucks, but I figure I can easily sell my 310 ticket before the concert... I'm only looking for face value... Looking on the bright side, which is that floor seat :)

 

 

It seems as though thanks to the pre-sale a lot of us were left with single tickets... So I'm proposing that all of us single ticket holders get together before the show or something so we don't feel so lonely, lol! I would have loved to have gone with a friend, however perhaps this is a chance to make some new ones :)... Anyone else in Toronto interested?

Anywho, I got 2 presale codes for the MTL show (me and my sister). I checked yesterday and saw that they went on sale at NOON...I decided to go on the website at 10:45 just to see and saw that they were ALREADY ON SALE!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!

 

I checked for seats and only crap was left. 77.50 seats. I had 2 screens going and from despair I even chose the worse seats out of the 2 I got. Section 320 DD.

 

I am so sad. I've seen them 6 times and 3 of those times were on the floor. I've been spoiled and CAN'T see them in the nose-bleed section.

 

I feel like my dog just died, that's how sad I am. I know it's just a concert and I should put that into perspective...but still :(

 

I guess I will try on Saturday with the hopes of getting better seats, but I'll be going alone to the conert.

I was tring to find a 77$ ticket in the 100 level and failed miserably. Why the heck would I pay 77$ for a 300 level ticket when I can pay 50$ for one.

 

 

I'm just gonna take my chances saturday but that code will guarantee someone a ticket so go for it.

Ottawa will be going through Capital Tickets as thy have sole exclusive rights to all concerts at Scotia Bank Place. I saved my presale code for it, but I have a feeling we may get another onefor the Ottawa show.

aww it makes me really sad reading all of this. thats really stupid with the whole time mix up thing but hey, coldplay will be awesome no matter where you guys are sitting.

I'm not personally familiar with how it works on the floor beyond what the charts shows, but I'm pretty happy to be on the floor despite where that might put me, and for those who got singles, and not pairs, I did the same and just tried two get two super close to each other. I hope my plans works, we're only two rows apart, so I don't think it will be an issue. I am intrigued if it is possible to breach your section and get closer though :D.

Well as long as you're on the floor you cansqueeze your way up. Its fairly simple as long as there arent a shitload of ushers (not that it'll matter). If you're sitting in the rows you might not be able to. They always have security watching for people wanting to jump down.

 

Ottawa shows do very well, hence why they always make room to come, but they don't sell out completely.You can always get a few good pairs of seat a week before the show. Most people wait until a week before to buy.

I dont know 100% but im assuming your presale code wont work for ottawa. Capital Tickets usually has their own presale codes and not company ones like Best Buy, but i guess there is a first time for everything. Contemplating going to ottawa if i get crap seats in TO. I lived there for 4 years and am due for a visit anyways. Oh wait, im going for Oasis in Sept. oh well, 2 times in 2 months!

Yeah...the only problem was that I purchased them. Yes, I was an idiot. Pure desperation.

 

I'm on hold with ticketmaster now. I was an idiot for purchasing this crap and now I'm stuck with them. Ticketmaster told me that it was the promoters decision to change the time to 10AM. Thanks a bunch! They refuse to cancel my order.

 

I'd love to go with my sister cause she had never seen them. But like I told her...I'm sorry but I can't see them with these tickets. I will try on Saturday for a single seat. I just hope I'll be able to get rid of these tickets.

As far as I recall... You cannot squeeze up to another row on the floor at the ACC... it is rows of chairs... And everyone keeps to the seat they purchased.
