I know... thanks for the optimism...... But now I'd have to spend a lot of money for decent seats let alone get up early this saturday to buy them. Figure out how to get there( gas is so expensive and I hate driving more than 2 hours in the car) then find a hotel.

 

I just had it planned out with friends how fun this summer was going to be and July 5th was a essential part. I'm a whiner but also a spontaneous person so who knows if a week before Toronto if I'll just buy a ticket and go.

I called Ticketmaster and they said I can take the same tickets I bought for the July 2nd show (Verizon Center) to the August 3rd show (Verizon Center) and they'll let me in. This seems weird, can someone confirm for me?

Yes you can, they have to honor it. It was on the Coldplay site.

You don't think they'll change the dates around again, do you? I just rescheduled my flights, and now I'm sort of regretting doing it so quickly!

For the people asking if their already-purchased tickets will be valid on the rescheduled date, the answer is YES. It has said so everywhere.

Finally, I get a clearer understanding. So they'll be in Orlando, November 07th 2008. Ok. Thanks Mel. Finally I can breathe a sigh of relief.

My tickets were for the July 6 concert in Cleveland ... rescheduled now for Oct. 21st. I had an uneasy feeling about things when I saw the 1st concert was being rescheduled, but I tried to remain optimistic.

I think I'd be all right with it, if I'd already seen them live before .. but since this will be my 1st time .. well, I'll just say it's gonna be a really long summer! :guitarist:

Edmonton was taken off :( Good thing I'm goin to Pemberton as well. I was looking forward to seeing Coldplay twice in 3 days though.

Phoenix was originally on a Saturday night which made it manageable to fly down from SF for the show. The new date is on the Wed before Thanksgiving, making it impossible for me to make the trip. So now I'm stuck with a $240 plane ticket to Phoenix in the middle of July. Fun!

Same here. Flight, hotel and car...$500 + $100 for a ticket to a show I can't go to. Not to mention, my birthday trip to Toronto now also ruined/canceled. Fucked twice, thanks so much guys. Hope you get those confetti cannons sorted. :dozey:
