I got my tickets and it's Section 128 Row F, it's not great but it could be worse. I see someone else here got Section 101. I wonder if the show is in full seating mode or half seating mode since it seems kinda far back for a half empty arena.

Yeah, it seems strange that everyone's tickets are pretty far back. I wonder who got the floor seats and the closer 100/200 level seats.

Whoa thanks for giving us hope! From all the section 100's I've been reading about, I thought that was about as close as it gets. Can't wait to recieve my tickets - i'm going to call my mom from work to check the seats for me :P

From scanning the craigslist ads(yes, there are people trying to sell their tix) and here, it looks like people have gotten tickets in:

Floor Sections 5, 7, 9 10

Loge 40

Sections 102, 103, 128

Section 202, 206

Section 305

And to let everyone know, I know someone that got section 7 on the floor. Didn't ask him about the row, though, sorry!

 

I'm still waiting for mine. Mail usually comes at 2 around here! Why did yesterday have to be Sunday?? :laugh4:

I got my 2 tickets, a sheet that explained all the rules like "no cameras, no selling the tickets" and directions, and i also got 2 wrist bands....any ideas why we would need wrist bands? i'm totally hoping its backstage stuff!! (doubt it...but i can wish right?) :)

well here's my assesment of these two posts....

 

 

if the person who got the floor seats (sec 1-12) got a wrist band.. thats because you're on the floor. I don't think it means anything else... sometimes they upgrade people.... at the actual show... they do that at other MSG functions... but thats about all I know.

 

I got my tracking number over the weekend... I think it should be in my mailbox when I get home from work tonight... I can't wait to see what section!!!! :nice:

all the posts on craigslist asking for 600-800 for MSG tickets are making me sick. people are such assholes taking advantage of coldplays generosity, making money on something they didnt pay for. blah!

i got 2 in section 228....not too pumped on the seats but they are in the first row...

nyc radio stations are all giving tickets away .92.3 were giving away 1 ticket at a time??..i will put money on it that they are getting all the good seats...total garbage. this puts a bad taste in my mouth. also, there are a million people on craigslist selling tickets for 500 plus....no one is stopping them even though they said they would....how could they anyway...

Well, according to every e-mail we've gotten about tickets, "THEY WILL BE CAUGHT."

 

I find that really hard to believe, but I guess we'll see. Certainly not looking too good so far.

theyve been very sucessful im making sure there arent any on ebay... but craigslist just exploded with ticket offers.

i do love though... the 6 or so posts on there looking to be ticket sellers, but when you click on it, it tells you off for selling/ buying tickets on there. pretty funny.

Excellent idea! I just went through and flagged all the post that were people selling as well. I saw a couple that had been removed already because of flagging..... so everybody do this!

Good idea! The asking prices are ridiculous! One says 250 will go to charity. Charity of thyself? You never know with people.

Good idea! I actually checked a little while ago and I only saw a couple of listings, so the flagging must be pretty effective. Hopefully they won't be so hard on those of us who were given tickets by those who had extra or couldn't go themselves and are "real fans"! :\

If I flag them and make them go away, does that mean us fans can move into nicer seats?

Yeah that's different and not so bad! Flag the rest...the charity one cracked me up too. He speaks of not wanting bad karma so he's giving half to charity...if you were really concerned about bad karma, why not donate it ALL?

friend of mine just got an email 10 minutes ago saying he is getting 2 tickets. he called to verify and they told him he is in section 211...kind of behind/side of stage....
