You really think so? Have you listened to all their albums?

I've listened to all of radiohead and coldplay's albums. and yes i think radiohead's music is less exciting then coldplay's, I can pretty much expect whats coming up next on a new radiohead album. but thats just my opinion...

coldplay always and forever

Radiohead without a doubt. Anyone who says radiohead's stuff all sounds the same needs to listen to the different albums, the full picture. And if you cant see it then...well *shrugs*.

Agreed.

Listen to You, then listen to Street Spirit, then listen to Paranoid Android, then listen to Idioteque, then listen to Life In A Glass House, then listen to The Gloaming, then listen to Jigsaw Falling Into Place....all the same? I think not!

I think Radiohead as whole is a more talented, interesting band than Coldplay

However

-I relate to Coldplay music more and listen to it more often, and I can listen to it no matter what mood

-I can't listen to Radiohead all the time I have to be in a certain mood

Its equal for me a hard decision. Yet I'm going to a Radiohead concert before a Coldplay one.

Agreed.

Yea i agree.

Fair enough if a band is liked more based on the emotional connection, the instinct, though, as that is what matters ultimetely, not to choose based on what is considered more clever or more popular or whatnot. thats silly.

Honestly, the way I see it:

Coldplay is my personal favorite band

Radiohead is probably the best band.

personally i liked Coldplay first and for some time, but then I just got into Radiohead and since then I don't like coldplay as much. I mean they have some really good songs. x&y used to be my favorite album by them and i listened to the album so much, but now listening to it i can only listen to a few songs (square one, talk and x&y). I find that their songs are very similar.

What i like about radiohead is that alot of their albums and songs are different from one another (with the exception of pablo honey). I also think that musicially they are superior in how they compose songs taking them to the next level by adding many parts to them.

don't get me wrong i still really like coldplay, just not as much as Radiohead

I actually knew about radiohead first... then learned about coldplay. I liked the two equally until I went to a coldplay concert and actually started to listen two the two bands alot. Then coldplay became my all-time favorite.

what he said!

Exactly pretty much. Well except I don't "still really like coldplay". I listen, not love or like.

i have a hard time comparing them! they're so different to me. :\

but as of my feelings now, i <3 Radiohead a bit more than Coldplay.

Radiohead, their just a more intresting band. They both do what they do really well but Thom Yorke is way more intresting than Coldplay in an interview.

Radiohead sometimes - I love their 'The Bends' stuff and a few things from their other albums, but generally they're a bit too weird for me. Still, what I do like I really like. Coldplay are easier to listen to imo, and I've liked them for much longer, so for me it's Coldplay.

Coldplay .. !!! no doubt

I wonder what the results would turn out to be if this were on a radiohead forum:\?

^ You wouldn't want to know haha.

Coldplay would be destroyed.

Fuck radiohead btw :P Coldplay rules

Radiohead! hands down!

However ,coldplay is gonna win cos you're asking this question on a coldplay board haha

I'd love to see this thread on atease :wacky:

^Would anyone answer beyond a couple of grumpy emotionally stunted teenagers on that one? :dozey:
