i know radioheadis more intstrumentally talented than coldplay. and i am starting to like their lyrics better. but still, the largest factor for me is the music itself, in which area i still heavily favor coldplay.

 

just wait. for me i favored coldplay, but once Radiohead clicks, there's no escaping it... trust me i've been stuck in this Radiohead blackhole for the past 2 years, and i can't stop listening to them. even if i take a break for a few days with another band i still go back to them

I put Coldplay, but it really depends on my mood. If I need a pick-me-up, or I just want lighter music, I go Coldplay. If I need something darker or if I just want music that will make me think and take me on journey, I'll go Radiohead. It depends on the day I guess.

Coldplay for me all the way... whatever that means about me lol. My indie friend says I'm commercial and boring for liking Coldplay, but it just means more to me lyrically than Radiohead. I respect Radiohead and really like some of their songs, but when I'm feeling bad, coldplay is like chicken soup. And when I'm happy, it's like a party lol

don't see how you can get tired of Radiohead. every single album is different which makes things interesting. so if your in a chill mood you can put on Kid A or IR, and if you want to rock out put on the bends.

Exactly. I could see Radiohead being boring if they for example released OK Computer sort of like Coldplay released AROBTH twice....

 

Parachutes is a great album though.
