The June the 9th thread is getting very long, and i think the jukebox mentions are lost somewhere in the middle.

Darn and blast it. I submitted my top 3, and now I’ve listened to the MySpace streaming of the album, I’m having to re-consider. I think I would definitely stick with Clocks, Viva La Vida and Spies but there is another track pushing for contention.

Reign Of Love is so beautiful, that piano sent shivers right through me and brought tears to my eyes ( and no its nothing to do with the wine I’ve been drinking whilst waiting for the stream!!). Its fabulous in its own way, but completely different to Viva La Vida. I think Viva just beats it for sheer jumping-round-the-living-roomness, but it’s a close call.

The album as a whole is the best I’ve heard in a long while. Its not often, I like most songs on an album the first time Ihear them. It didn’t happen for X&Y and it didn’t happen for my other boys when they released Beautiful World.
