More bad smells raising from the Ethihad .

"***MASSIVE RUMOUR ALERT***

Vincent Kompany is not injured and has not played the last two games because he is subject to an internal discipline procedure, after having a fight with a fellow player after the FA Cup Final last week. He was not happy with the commitment with some of the players and let his feelings known in the wembley dressing room.He also led a 19 man revolt against Mancini after the game, the only player to stick up for the now deposed manager was Yaya Toure.I understand that Toure was that upset he sought to speak to Serrano and has been persuaded to stay at the club after proposed transfer targets were revealed during the meeting

source?

source?

Facebook ...

This is where we all found out about Mancini so this has to be true

The MLS is getting a (nother) new franchise in New York, co-owned by the Yankees and Manchester City. Basically, it can burn in hell.

Are you religious?

we could now get around fair play rules by buying players for new york city & loan them to city for nothing..

yes its an extreme thought but no one can stop us.. it would be an extra 3 players a season

when i think about it who is to stop nycfc aquiring messi or whoever without the controls of ffp then selling them to city for 99 cents...

Wow what a horrible person.

No one can stop us.

Its just like the Enabling Act of 1933

I'd post more in this thread and probably try and initiate proper footballing discussions (like I attempt to start up debates in the Lounge and Music sections) but Bart posts here so I don't see the point.

That last post was just blatant trolling, problem is that even the City forum can't take him seriously (When he's not trolling) or acknowledge him so this is some form of attention.

I am just stating what the future is to bring

To be honest though my last eight posts or so on here have been baiting him for being a tosspot. Fair play that he hasn't bitten though. Still don't know what he gets from posting in this section.

why do clubs seem hell bent on their own doom. Stoke City going to Mark "happy clapper " Hughes ...

Seeing as 95% of the time its just me and you who reply to the thing, I want to make a pact with you to just ignore the fuck out of it.

Neither of us will probably last long but it'll be interesting to see what happens/its reaction if we manage to do it (Presuming you want to).

EDIT: I only lasted a few hours, but I'm only going to count it in the football thread.

So the winner of the Europa League will get an entry into the Champions League the following season...

That makes no difference, if Uefa wanted to make the Europa League a better competition, they should stop the 3rd place teams from the champions league groups dropping down into it at the knockout round. Finish 3rd in your group, tough.

OK, in the football thread I agree. I never really see him elsewhere so it shouldn't be hard unless he makes more badly worded posts in the Woolwich thread.

Just let me reply to this one then I'm done with him in this thread.

Hughes has done well at two clubs and done badly at two clubs. The two clubs he did well at were of Stokes level (Blackburn - where he did phenomenally all things considered - and Fulham, where he made a positive start). He did badly at two clubs where he wasn't making the transfers and was in a pressure situation of seeing the club spend a lot of money. He got Rovers out of a tight spot. When he took over they were bottom of the league and looking certain for relegation. he sorted the defence out, ground out results and took them to a semi regular European qualifying team.

He has plenty to prove and is far from a safe choice, but then again who is a safe choice? This could be a stroke of genius if it works.

I'm guessing you're biased because he managed the team you bang on about all the time, and I'm biased because he managed the team I've had a season ticket with for 19 years (just about to buy my twentieth when they go on sale).
