July 14, 200322 yr I'm UK so only have small knowledge of bands in US..all i have are single hits i really liked while over in the US..like Eve-6 - Here's to the night, DMB - Space Between, Incubus - Drive, American Hi Fi - Flavour of the week, Staind- Been a while, Electrasy - Morning Afterglow, Goo Goo Dolls - Broadway, Creed - My sacrifice, Train - Drops of jupiter....so I envy you US ppl, your music is in a far better state than ours...ours is all full of teeny bop, manufactured bands that are mostly successful due to looks rather than any actual talent.... Anyway back on topic...sorry :)
July 14, 200322 yr so I envy you US ppl' date=' your music is in a far better state than ours...ours is all full of teeny bop, manufactured bands that are mostly successful due to looks rather than any actual talent....[/quote'] wow... I've always felt the opposite, I hate how the music industry is in America, here we have nothing but rap/hip-hop/"R&B" and hardcore rock/punk/metal/emo-punk on the radio and TV, and I'm sick and tired of it. The only good stuff I hear comes from the UK. I guess thats because I've never been to the UK, i dont know whats popular there... I just know that most of the bands I like are from the UK.
July 14, 200322 yr Foreigner The Knack The Outfield The Smithereens yes, some sad choices except Foreigner
