buddy your a young man hard man

shouting on the street gonna take over the world one day

you got blood on yo face..you big disgrace

waving your banner all over the place

singing....we will we will rock you..we will we will rock you.

WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU!!

I remember being in my class hitting the desks and all of us singing along and clapping our hands 'WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU... we were eleven or so...1993... flashback, what a good memory...

What a grat band!!! They had class, they had style, which is something we don't see very often lately... and Freddie was an Artist, in capital letters, he was such a genius...

I'll end my post with a quote from 'The Miracle' which is my desire for today, for this sick violent world:

... that time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends...

OK just watch Queen live in concert at Wembley in 1986...and omg I forgot how good Freddie and the band were live...just 4 ppl, 3 with instruments, filling a whole stadium with noise.

Got me to thinking, if Freddie hadn't tradgically died of AIDS in '91, would Queen still be here today, would they still be "hip", would they still be writing regular top of the chart stuff (like Madonna) or would they be more of Elton John type situation....a few big hits now again, but mainly in the shadows writing good stuff but more for fans...would they still be attracting new fans?

It's all if's but and maybe's, but omg, tonight showed me again how good they were when they were in their prime, anyone ever see Live Aid in '85? Anyone else notice Queen brought it to life thanks to Freddie's love of getting crowds involved?

Anyone else care? If so write your opinions :)

If no-one cares, then no worries, I'm off to listen to my Queen MP3 collection again :)

I totally agree with you. In my mind Queen was the biggest rock band... One of my friend is a Queen fan and she has a lot of stuff like videos... so i used to see some concerts, and OMG, they rocked Wembley and any other venues !!!

Freddy and the guys were just so good. I think if Freddie wasn't died they were still in the charts. He was a genius, and genius go through the time !!

My fav Queen song is "I want it all"

Very true, he was a genius, and that voice, no-one can mimic that voice. I can usually sing 1 queen song before my throat is very sore...

My favourite song is "Show must go on"

*likes queen*

*would like to hear you sing a Queen song* :)

lol ok :)

*watches Simon scurry for the nearest bomb shelter*

I just think Queen is the best band I've heard so far. Well when Mr. Freddy Mercury died I was l2 years old ( luckily 3) but my dad just ut me Queen all the time when I was litle and he got some very old cd's, well they are tapes, of Queen so for me they are like U2, but I still have the chance to see U2, thats not the case with Queen. I got the DVD Live at Wembley Stadium and it was amazing! My brother was just crazy with it and used to watch it everyday. I remember when I was in the Cross Country ( my level is really low compair with the others) I listen U2 for a bit of euphoria and then when I was running I just sing Queen all the race ( Show must go on) and it did help! It was a lot shorter than I thought and it wasnt that terrible ..... well anyway I finish last , and this is about Queen! I thought noone remembered them right now, I do, some of my friends do and my parents and uncles do but as we all live together, I thought we were just a case and the band was just a nice thing from the past...I guess I was wrong!

Bomb shelter?

bomb shelter cos i have to sing queen loud lol

hey u still want me to sing queen at you? :P
