I like bumblebees.

Featured Replies

They're cute, with the way they're always...bumbling around in the air and going "BBBBZZZZZZ" and whatnot. And they have little wings attached to their large, round bodies. They're funny to watch. But they sting. That hurts.

bees are pleasant little creatures. they always seem very busy. And when they sting you, it feels like a burn, imo.

I'm scared of them.

them and wasps!

they're out ot get me I swear!

:laugh3: no no, I could swear they target me!

and bluebottles are even worse! they're the ones PRETENDING to be bumblebees to scare me!

I'm VERY paranoid about the BZZZZZ.

I hear it, I run.

true story.

I don't know what they think they're doing, but all stinging insects fly after me incessantly. They follow me around like they're trying to find a place to land. It's really annoying, but somehow I've only been stung once and I didn't even see it coming.

Do you secrete pollen by any chance??

In my uni house, I had 3 bees flying in through the window into my room. With the help of my housemate, managed to remove them carefully with a glass..... but I'm not as scared about them as I was for these wasps that flew in. One was ACTUALLY following me around the room and down the stairs as I ran as fast as possible away from it.

We had to use some wasp killer spray stuff. I swear wasps are actually EVIL!!

:bigcry:

^Well wasps are hunters/predators while bees aren't, hence their different behaviour.

Most species of bee only sting in self-defence or as a last resort.;)

This thread is a goldmine of epic and funny :laugh3:
