cos the HMV I got mine from ONLY had the carboard cover, which is better, but i've not seen a plastic case one.

no plastic cases anywhere yet. which is cool.

Anyone get the vinyl? i was tempted. £14 not bad... looked like lots of artwork in it too!

2 criticisms of an otherwise excellent album.

 

a) Life In Technicolour is rubbish, and opening albums with an instrumental never works, that track should have been ditched and "a spell a rebel yell" put on the album, simply for having the gawl to rip off the Stone Roses.

 

b) The cd wont fit into my cd rack, whats wrong with plastic cases:rolleyes:

Woo! I got my CD today in Sainsbury's in Newry! Just £8.75. I saw it in HMV and Zavvi too, but nowhere had the jewel case.

i like the cardboard case. enviromentally friendly :D

 

n i bought it for £9.97 or something. but i cudnt care less. i would have bought it if it was £30. after i get paid obviously. lol

Hah, you totally rule! Metal Gear Solid 4 looks awesome. I'll be picking it up today. Unfortunately, I have to wait till next week to get Viva La Vida (US).

I got the gatefold one in Zavvi for £9. The funny thing was, as soon as I picked up the album off the shelf, Life In Technicolor started playing really loudly on their speakers! :dance: Haha, I kind of froze on the spot, it was like they were playing it for me :D

 

And as I approached the till (during LIT) I heard the staff talking about Coldplay... I think one guy said "this is Coldplay" and the woman was like "woah it doesn't sound like them!". I couldn't help but smile stupidly at them, haha :P

 

I stayed in there until the end of Lovers In Japan, it was pretty awesome hearing the first half of the album in a public store :smiley:

Wal-Mart will probably have the jewel case, more than likely. The one Jimmy Kimmel had looked like it.

I want that album now :bigcry:
