Some days ago I was having a look to all the pics i got from Coldplay and I saw one taken from Coldplay.com showing a possible Tracklisting for the album and I saw some songs lost in the finish tracklisting.

 

Do you remember Poppy Fields, Rainy day, Leftrightleftrightleft...?

 

What do you think it will happen to them? Wouldn't have you liked to have them in the CD it's already in your hands? Or do you think they will be released as b-sides?

 

Anyway. What about them? :O

 

 

Ps: In spain it hasn't already been released! We still have to wait untill net tuesday :(

Rainy Day actually formed the first part of the song Death & All His Friends, the piano part. As for all the rest, we might see them surface as B-sides to this album's singles, or on the album supposedly coming out at the end of next year.

Serious? I really wanna hear Rainy Day now. The 1st part of DAAHF is amazing but the second part is really weak in my opinion.

Yea I've never heard that either. I do hope we get these songs eventually though as b-sides or possibly on the next album. Don't forget Glass of Water either. So strange that the song titles and some of their lyrics are in the booklet for Viva La Vida. I wish they were on the album.

Yeah, I noticed Glass of Water is particularly prominent in the booklet.

 

Although maybe some of them simply evolved into songs we have now, e.g. the bit about Rainy Day above, Strawberry Swing and Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground, etc.
