June 18, 200818 yr The set leads Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart, released today (June 18), with unweighted first-day sales of 316,000 copies through the close of business yesterday. so... this wasn't a full day :) great numbers... It's a shame that in the ALL-WORLD album chart they will be number 2 this week and next week they will be number 1... if the album was realese in the same day all over the world so it sold a lot than a 1 million copies of LIL WAYNE but this week is without US sales... so LIL will be number 1... next week thou.
June 19, 200818 yr how many was it that Radiohead sold in three days? for the US they sold like 122,000 copies of the new album in the first week according to this: http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003694375
June 19, 200818 yr so Coldplay beat them..:stunned: smooth. yeah well they released the album before and that got over a millions downloads from their site so...yeah
June 19, 200818 yr Radiohead and Coldplay are the ONLY two bands that I don't mind if they beat each other. When I listen to In Rainbows I can't help but move around like Thom as I listen. Viva La Vida is the very first album of theirs that I do the exact same thing when I listen. I can "feel" the music more on this one.
June 19, 200818 yr What about first day of X&Y? It sells 732,000 copies in the first week in the USA - can Viva beat this record? What do you all think?
June 19, 200818 yr Well it's on course to sell between 650-700k in the US this week. They reckon it could go even higher though, so they might do it!
June 19, 200818 yr yep and now they have a hot 100 nº 1 in usa and billboard prediction its a n º 1 in albums chart also so all the haters suck my cock.
