Why hasn't The New York Times reviewed VLV yet? Wasn't this album essentially Chris's response to their negative reviews?

Chris shouldn't worry about impressing these guys. ;)

That's the share price of the NYT company. It's fallen 66% in the last few years because circulation is down and it's looking like the management aren't going to do anything about it.

ah i see now.............the line plumetting down should have been a clue :D

Definitely, has been out almost a week now though, would have thought they'd have done it on Tuesday.

So, expect a controversial review again? They need to sell papers...

At this point I think "controversial" would mean effusive praise of Viva la Vida. Considering nearly every other major publication either panned it or gave it a lukewarm review.

Yeah, I've been wondering where the NYT review is too!I'm very curious to see what they say... But don't forget they wrote that article a couple of weeks ago- "Coldplay tries something new on next album" or whatever it was called.

(And don't insult the NYT, it's SO much better than most newspapers out there!)

Hehe well said :P

yeah i like the graphic, but thats how all papers are doing now...electronic media is destroying paper media

so honestly that doesn't mean much, but yeah i guess we might want to know what they think:confused:

really i couldnt care less...this album fucking rocks, fuck the reviews

E-Media is better than paper media because why wait for the next day to read the news on the previous days events?

not to only NYTimes Chris responded to a lot of people who are actively criticizing them.

LOL! So, youre saying the NYT will be one of the first major publications to get it right then?
