i really like them. i've got the first album and i've always loved it.

i still haven't bought the second LP, because i was a little skeptical that it would be as good when it was released. now i've heard a few tracks from it, and it's become one of my must-have albums.

The Cooper Temple Clause!

I'm going through a major Coopers-fase right now so this just has to be done! Plus their t-shirt designs are fucking awsome!

Tom Bellamy – Electronics, bass, vocals

Kieran Mahon – Keyboards, bass

Jon Harper – Drums

Dan Fisher – Guitar, bass, vocals

Ben Gautrey – Guitar, keyboards, bass, vocals

Didz Hammond - Bass, Synthesizer, Samples, Vocoder & Vocals. (Left 2005)

Albums:

See this through and leave (2002)

NME: Cooper Temple Clause don't so much kill music as deconstruct and reanimate it like deranged Dr. Frankentein's stitching together limbs from every conceivable genre onto a twitching post-rock torso. As a result, their debut album 'See This Through...' is a defiant, often thrilling, monstrosity.

Kick up the fire, and let the flames break loose (2003)

NME: Difficult second album? Did we say difficult second album(I)? Ah no, this was a piece of piss. Cooper Temple Clause just loosened the pressure valves and out plumed the most brilliantly ambitious record of the year.

Make this your own (2007)

AND WITH ALL THAT: feel free to discuss, fangirl, rant, picspam or just simply love

Woo-hoo!

Ben looks so hot on that pic Tea

Why are you striking that out, he's like...... the hottest being on earth.

LMFAO.

See, THIS is what I had to get out of my system that the Libs thread wouldn't allow! :laugh4: ;)

I have lots of pictures to share, but I'm writing so.... later hahaha

lmfao lmfao

Ben is the sex. And I love Tom's cheekbones! They're lovely. Kieran's hair is just fabolous and I'll shut up now before I scare everyone away!

Albums on the way!

OK, fine * breathes * Ben IS SO FUCKING HAWT! AND OH LORDY I WANNA SNOG HIM!

:laugh4: Woo, done! :nice:

Girls, girls, I think we should let the thread get past TWO PAGES before we start THAT!

:smug:

But yeah, I'd fuck 'em!

:laugh4: hahahahaa I'm a walking ironic statement!

*hangs head*

Sorry.

I forgot the 2 page rule. After that, fangirling is allowed! :laugh4:

Nah, their music is fantastic. I luv em:heart:

They are!

So...what's everyone's take on what NME said...what was it now, something about the whole album being about Didz leaving. I kinda get the feeling when I hear 'What have you gone and done?' but not on the others.

LMFAO you're lucky I'm not remotely close to be scared away by your comments. We'd all love to see new poeple on here, right? Not that I'm tired of you or don't love you, but, you know?

Sometimes I think people are not bored enough. Or we have much spare time on our hands. Either way, there's not enough people posting on the interesting threads as this one. Or it can be the evil UserCP, that is stubborn in his decision to ruin our attempts at threads.

WTF?

I talk a lot tonight.

I just think people in general are stuck with what they listen to and don't really go outside that. I used to be.. I kinda am right now as well... but still, it's fun to get albums by artists you've never heard about and listen, going to gigs and get another music-love... Should we promote this in the 'offical sexy fit men'-thread? lmfao lmfao Like that's gonna work!

'Eww...why doesn't that guy wash his hair?'

:uhoh:

But I wouldn't mind if Dani tried :wideeyed:

Yes yes, exactly. I used to be a bit like that when younger, and now I'm quite the opposite. I end up listening to some class shit because of that, and knowing some amazing bands as well. It's fun, the ride.

THANKYOU  LEGEND!

And 'Kick up..' is almost done uloading! Gonna edit the first post now!

Woo no worries! All for the sake of promotion! :laugh3:

*raises hand* I will I will! I remember how I started the whole frantic Libs/DPT posting in that thread (and even the thread itself?) with Stan waaaaaay back when, in the summer! haha. It certainly helps to show the hotness of a band to get people interested :sneaky:

Shallow girls!

I'm guilty, though.

;)

heh. Oh man, the User CP ruins my life, sometimes, but I always make a point of once a week or whenever I feel like it actually checking the area of the forum that I frequent. I never go in any other part, though, other than this music one....! just realized that! oh well...

Yeah, but I wish more people would post and listen to different stuff. I get into like... 3 bands a week, I'm very open and will listen to anything and everything at least once before any judgement, I wish people would do the same! C'moooon! heh

I love discovering bands, in fact I recommend it as a hobby. What's cooler that looking for music instead of being fed to you by the mediocre media? :laugh4:

Yes, promotion! I love promoting! :wideeyed:

Andy, Legend! :stunned:

So true, Red! haha, it's DEFINATELY my hobby....Sometimes I'll get my NME in the mail (about 3 weeks late, mind you!) and I'll look at the little list of bands mentioned in the magazine that week, check all the ones I haven't given a listen to off, and go to their myspace page. No matter what, rap, rock, indie rave, etc etc ;)

Life is fun, that way!

2 PAGE RULE, AAAAAAAAND GO!

lmfaooo!

Oh god, I DO THAT! :laugh4:

(We have a problem :uhoh:)
