There is no such thing as a Chocolate addiction. Just a mild co-dependency..:rolleyes::biker:

Umm.. Well, Chocolate is basically the love drug! :P Which really is fine! Theobromine, caffeine, and a couple of other good things, plus lots of antioxidants, healthy cocoa butter, and some sugar (65%-70% cacao is best). I think the dark (semi-sweet actually) is best with almonds, as this enhances the taste and texture.

So, yea, it stimulates some of the same brain chemistry that we feel as euphoric love, and the caffeine gives a nice buzz, and the sugar has quite an effect as well! (a little sugar's OK, a lot's not OK, unless it's a rare treat, if you want healthier ways of approaching life).

YES!! And having some each day is actually healthy! (a couple of ounces). It's pretty high calorie content, so just be sure and do some dancing to Coldplay's strawberry swing, and you'll be just fine!:)

Plus there's fiber in chocolate as well - it's really come around as a healthy food, in moderation of course (like we have that much will power!:laugh3:). Best to keep it in a place where it's cool - preferably in a safe.

i hear that choco can actually decrease your BP, but not really by that much.. too bad. i thought that was pretty interesting, nevertheless.. for anyone who's into that sort of thing..
