Do you ever smoke?

Featured Replies

Rebellion, really. It was "cool" to smoke, and I will admit, I wanted to be "cool." Now, 16 years later, I realize that I have been enslaved by these things. My health has drastically deteriorated because of them and if my calculations are correct, I have spent well over $32,120.00 dollars on this habit in my lifetime. Scary, eh?

Extremely!!:stunned:

You could definitely conclude the money has literally "gone up in smoke"!!

Indeed. My boyfriend (who is also quitting) and I set up a savings account at our bank to put in weekly what we would have spent on cigarettes. If my calculations on THAT are correct, we would be able to go on a weeklong cruise with the money we save in one year. It's a compelling motive, I would say!

Definitely. Excellent idea, and congratulations.

Not only that, but I bet both of you will start feeling better too!;)

That's an excellent idea. Worked for my auntie :D

Good luck!

Are you connected to a volcanic vent??

Yep :P

Then the likelihood is that you do smoke from time to time, unless of course you're "extinct".

Day one of my quit is almost over. I have spent a good portion of the day thinking about how I'm not smoking, so I am going to have to work on that.

Otherwise, I am very happy with my decision to quit and am determined to stay quit. Thanks for all the good luck and vibes from you all! :D

congrats for your first day without smoking !

coldplaying's here to provide support !

Day two almost complete. Doing okay so far. I would admit that I was a little irritable several times today, especially after meals, though.

Thanks for the kind words and support. I really wanna quit. I just have to get through this part first. Baby steps, right? ;)

Way to go,keep it up.
