Do you ever smoke?

Featured Replies

Don't ever try it, it's a nasty habit.....ha I'm a total hypocrite!!

I'm a smoker....I really wanna give it up though but it's hard to not smoke when you're on a night out and drinking....I suppose only smokers will understand that though :(

Even if it means going outside though?

I feel the cold quite badly though, so that would be enough to put me off I think.

It isn't cool at all.

^The smell, fumes, and potential health repercussions should be enough to put anyone off.;)

Sometimes that's the reason I smoke! You know when you're in a club dancing your socks off and you just need air? Then that's when the smoking happens :(

My boyfriend doesn't smoke so I'm gonna try give up for him, but it's so hard!

I'll have to go cold turkey :o

Ah true.

Cold turkey? :stunned: You should put all the money you would've spent on cigarettes into a jar and set your sites on something you really want! :idea2: Helped my auntie.

I love the smell of cigs and cigars and pipes.

I smoke like a chimney and wish I never started... Have tried stopping on several occasion and havent been very good at it. Ive tried chantix and the patch. The patch worked better. Chantix made me want to throw up all the time. The patch gave me crazy dreams and I drooled all over my pillow at night. (TMI) sorry

I do believe I will quit one day though. Many of my friends do not smoke or have quit with success so Ive got a group around me to help. I just need the will power to make it happen for myself. Its such a damn crutch....

I've never smoked, and I don't plan to either. None of my high school friends smoked so I guess I just never really thought it as being a social thing (same thing with drinking). None of my immediate family in this country smokes either. Some of my friends at uni smoke and one in particular is pretty much a chain smoker, but it still puts me off big time. Plus I have moderate asthma, so smoking would probably kill me 10x faster than most people.

My friend Rob used to run track in high school and have all the energy in the world, and he took up smoking and now he can barely walk around the mall without coughing and hacking. It's sad.

never done it

I've only puffed on a cigar once; nearly died from the taste. What I really like doing is buying cigars and either chew on the end or smell them. The aroma of some cigars are simply astounding!

I agree, I love the way an unburned cigar smells.

BTW, Cigar Aficionado is an awesome magazine, whether you smoke them or not!

I don't smoke at all. I don't like when people around me smoke at the moment I'm with them, I hate its smell ;)

Bill Clinton has a thing for cigars............................

So does Rush Limbaugh.

Even if I disagree with him on half the crap he says, he's still one of my heroes. :D

Never have, never will.

I'd actually go as far as saying, I prefer to be around someone smoking weed than a cig...at least weed doesn't have that bad of a smell. I'd never do either though, I would be too worried smoking weed that I'll do something really stupid cause of being high, and it wouldn't be worth it. And being addicted to anything is never good, whether it's a harmless habit or drugs.

Very true.;)

Shit no,disgusting!!!

i never have and never will. i just dont understand why someone in this day and age would even bother to pick it up. i think there's an excuse for older people because back then they didn't know how bad it was for you, but anyone under like 30...i think it's ridiculous. sorry if that offends anyone, but it would help if i knew WHY people picked it up. it's hardly rebellion, since half the world does it.

i have three high school friends that smoke, but it was scandalous (i went to a...very strange high school). it was more the fact that they smoked at ALL which was astonishing; its not like they ever did it on campus. i guess it's just really uncommon for young people in my area.

but here in europe...my GOD. smoking was banned in restaurants and bars here in holland...yesterday. no, two days ago. but wow. in america, we havent been able to smoke inside for like 8 years.

jonny and guy still smoke, right? but i think will quit...

I get a migrane around cigarette smoke.

What does that tell you?

I couldn't smoke even if I wanted to.

:D

Never will!

I tried it twice as a teenager and didn't like it. I occasionally smoke weed though.
