So far this summer I have discovered Harry Potter (read the first 5 books within a few weeks and am now on to the Half-Blood Prince!) and Tegan and Sara (listened to their first 3 albums a lot and soon going to go on to 4 and 5). I also found out I passed my uni exams and realised I still have no idea what I want to do after my final year of uni. Oh, and Coldplay released an album, so that was pretty amazing!

And I am thankful for that

I work so time goes by quickly. I'll be on vacation on 9th of August. I'll go to Ardèche, in the middle of France where the weather is always warm and sunny. The local specialities are blueberry fields (not strawberry swings).:laugh3:

An '01 Mercury Sable... it took pretty much every last penny I had, but it's totally worth it! It's fancy too- it's got leather seats and a moonroof (clearly necessities for a 19 year old college student).

And yes Coldplay in Hartford on Saturday! I am SO excited. Also, today I "married" one of my 5 year old campers. So things have been turning around, I'd say. :)

I'm a 9-5er.. :( Enjoy your summer vacations, b/c when you're out working in the "real world", there's no such thing as a summer break. Plus I start my master's program in September, so the only break I'll have is during January.... Oh well... I do miss the 2 month vacations.......

Summer's been quite nice but I so need to find a job. I've spent loads of money but I've barely earned any.

Next saturday i'll go on vacation to the middle of France (Ardèche) where i'll do caving, canoë and i'll visit around. For the time being, i'm working as a legal assistant in the intellectual property (trademarks).

first summer since i am at uni that i am working, i am doing my practices, every morning, i have 2 days off work per week, is ok because i learn but i am not payed for what i am doing and it doesn't sure that i will be working on the same enterprise once i'll finish my practices there (that would be in september), so is ok partially but i have few free time to watch films, go trekking and write. :uhoh:

btw i had gone to some concerts in july :dance:

Also last night I finally got me a job interview and it went really well. The lady said she really liked me and wanted me on the staff. She said Ill get very limited work over summer but once September rolls around Ill be working a lot more. I'll be making $8.50 an hour!!! Plus I have a lot of friends Ill be working with! Im so excited!!

 

I start (paid) training on the 11th!!!!!!!!
