Sadly, my best friend doesn't feel the same way as we do... she thinks they're the best think that ever happened to the world. Ugh. I really try to not be opinionated, but really. Sometimes I just can't stand some people's taste in music.

They may be overhyped Disney crap, but I will give them credit for at least writing their own songs (however lyrically inane) and playing their own instruments. More than some bands/singers like that can say these days...

All my friends love them. As a matter of fact, they went to a Jonas Brothers concert (along with every other girl from school) on the night of the Coldplay concert here...:uhoh:

I agree. They may be Disney but at least they dont sound like 10 year olds whining about how hard it is to be a pop star. They do write SOMEWHAT real songs and at least they can play and sing decently.

I hate all those Disney "musical artist" except for miley a lil bit, something about her selling out a concert in 5 minutes gets my respect :D

It's because everybody keeps stealing music from the record industry, they don't want to take risks and sign only bands they know will make them a lot of money by playing bland music to the American idol audience

Not sure, but I know they cover "Kids in America", which wouldn't be so bad, BUT they changed the line "We're the kids in America" to "We're the kids of the future".

I mean, their main songwriter is 15. He gets respect for coming up with something like that. At least it's catchy, if not exactly good (to me, anyway).

my neighbors love these fellas. One of them is 15 and she finds the youngest one soo cute. They arent the worse act out there, they are doing what they like to do. and some people like it. To each its own I say.

ha funny you posted this bc i just went to their concert in Scranton, PA last night.

my friend's kids love them and she bought six tickets for all of us. I'm not as obsessed with the Jo Bros as they are but I do like them. They put on a very good show and though the music is 'poppy-rock', they write their own songs and all play instruments. They're not that bad really, you just have to be open minded enough to listen to one song and if you don't like it, then that's fine, they just aren't your cup of tea. But at least attempt to know a little bit of what you're criticizing first :dozey:

I don't even understand how they and the rest of the disney stars can write songs about love and stuff and they're so young. :confused: I'm not much older than them and I have no clue. I never even thought of them ever actually going on dates or having significant others because they would get attacked by paparazzi. I don't knoooow....

That's surprising as I would have imagined Disney would have paid for some of the world's best songwriters to craft songs for then to sing

They're awful.I don't get it really.Girls go CRAZY at the sight of them.The screeching and screaming.I was in NYC not long ago and we were sleeping the same hotel.In the morning (like 7 or 8) they were signing autographs outside, looking fresh, clean and wide awake.I was like 'more cooofffeeee for me'. Going out of the hotel was a little difficult cause the kids were just blocking the way.

heres what I think. I think that if they had gone on without disney and if they had signed with an actual record label, and they didn't have disney influence, then maybe they would be a better band then just being mediocre. But it didn't go that way. I actually feel sorry for them....

Has anyone seen them live?? I need to know if it is worth going to the concert before I spend a lot for tickets. They did a concert in the Hamptons last weekend and I heard tickets were up to $1200 how ridiculous is that?
