I agree with you on that one, after my parents got divorced I swore I was never ever going to get married.. But my boyfriend convinced me (yes, he already asked me if I'd marry him, but we're not officially engaged..).

 

I think it is a feeling, a bit like pride or something. I'm proud to be his wife eventually and to have his last name.. I do think marriage is a once in a lifetime thingy..

 

Tho' it seems like it is more extraordinary when your parents stay together instead of them getting divorced..
