FINALLY! I'm so pleased that

A. They have a coldplay song come standard on a guitar hero game.

B. That they chose the best possible coldplay song for it instead of yellow or GPASUYF (which are awesome songs, but don't comport well with the game and would only make coldplay seem more boring to rock fans)

C. That it's in a full band version and the way they edited the notes looks awesome!

i absolutely suck at guitar hero, but YAY! about time coldplay came standard, and with pretty much the best song they could have picked, too! :dance:

 

i bet this would be kind of a hard song for beginners, though.

nah, they have different difficulty levels so instead 7 or 8 notes per measure it will be like 1 lol.

oh well yes, but usually the songs down towards the bottom of the list are harder than the ones at the top, even in the beginner level or whatever its called :P. at least, they are for me!

yeah I guess so, I usually do decently on hard difficulty and can survive only the easiest songs on the highest difficult.

 

when all else fails you can do the singing, just take it easy on the chris dancing :D

there's a full-band version of guitar hero? is that just to compete with rockband?

well in the video you see drumming, a singer and a similar interface as rock band, that's basically what guitar hero world tour is, a GH version of rock band just with a slightly different drum set and gibson guitars.

yup, still like rock bands new DLCs every week.. i might have to get both

interesting. i've only played guitar hero like 3 times, but i found it easier to play songs that i knew. maybe i'd rock at shiver then :P

Aaaahhh this is frickin' sweet!! A friend of mine who lives down the hall from me at college will undoubtedly buy Rock Band 2. Maybe this means I get to buy GH4?

i might have to scout out someone who has this on campus, just to try.

Well then I guess Talk would've been just the right speed for a novice like me! Although I do like the bit in Talk where the guitar gets all distorted... :guitarist:

 

Somewhat unrelated, but has to do with Jonny's guitar-playing, I like how he said that he can't really sing along with the rest of the band on DAAHF because the guitar is in a weird time signature and different from the vocals... Nice to see they challenge themselves... it's not always easy to appreciate the layers and complexity of their work, although I'd just as much love a simple song as long as it sounded good!
