Wow... I don't want to grow up.

This is all happening too fast!! :bigcry: College applications, ordering my cap and gown, and I turn 18 in a few months.

I want to be an adult and do whatever I want, and yet I'm not ready for any real responsibility.

I'm independent, but I'm not ready to be completely independent!

I think I have a Peter Pan complex.

I wanna be 10 again. :bigcry:

Growing up is lame.

That's why I'm not doing it.

That and I'm totally not conformist like the rest of you.

honey I'm 24...(i've been posting it a lot) I ain't grown up.. age has nothing to do with it

plus don;t feel bad about it cause you can't stop it anyways

I'm 15 and I act like I'm 20 and like I'm 10 depending on whatever I'm doing.

Your point? Sure, the snobby girls at my school (well it is Catholic all-girls high school, the worst of the worst) think my bunch of friends are a bunch of freakaloons, but we enjoy it!

I used to think being grown up would be awesome, I could drive, do whatever I wanted. But it's not too great, the real world is hard. I miss high school.

You'll get there soon. Sooner than you can imagine.

I'm almost a quarter century! don't think about that too long!

i've always been older than my age. i really can't wait to be like, 23 so i can finally be on my own, and so my friends are slightly more mature then. ok, maybe they won't be THAT much more mature, but i think the whole binge-drinking thing becomes less accpetable by then and blah blah blah.

i'm just really sick of being 18 and in college and all that stuff. i feel like i'm really ready to enter the real world, or enter the real world again, because when i was in the real world, i enjoyed it WAY more than being in college.

anyway, jenika, this time does suck, especially with college apps, but i promise you'll start to realize you're much more ready for it then you think. it can be wearing, but it won't break you, i promise :D

wait till you hit your 30's its all down hill from there. enjoy every single moment. stay in school as long as you can, travel as much as you can, go to as many concerts, do it all. working 9-5 is not fun:rolleyes:

High school life blows, if I could I would leave now. I'm turning 17 in a couple of weeks and it's bugging me that I'm still a teenager: :P HATE HATE HATE HATE IT. Be glad you are moving on, sometimes getting stuck in the past is a horrible thing.

I'm 21.. so old:bigcry:

^26 and more of a teenager than I was 10 years ago. :P

Don't worry, senior year everything gets thrown at you pretty fast, but after that you have another oh, 17 years or so before society expects you to grow up and take much of any responsibility for yourself. That's the great thing about being a 20-something these days, you can look after yourself as much or as little as you want to.

...not that you can get a high enough paying job out of college to afford rent anyway, nowadays...:(

Well I'm 16 and I'm already going through a mid-life crisis!

I constantly think about the past and try to act like a kid sometimes to remember what it felt like, just becasue I feel like I reached this age and never got a chance to enjoy life. I've always had so much crap around, I never got to enjoy my childhood.

^Aye, same here. Grew up too fast.
