Just got some texts from Angie. She can send them but doesn't have actual phone service. She is still without power which sucks big time. Tomorrow I'll post some pics of the damage at her place that she sent me.

Reminds me of hurricane Juan a few years ago- we lost a lot of our trees, everything was a mess and shut down, and the power was out for the better part of a week while the power company tried to re-string pretty much the entire province. That going home to the dark part was especially nasty. Turned out to be a category 3 hurricane, and one of the more traumatic experiences of my life.

I am fine. All my family in Louisiana are fine. I still have no power and it may be up to a month before I do. Today wasn't too bad as a cool front pushed thru so the temp is more pleasant. Gas, food and ice lines are very long. So far I haven't had to deal with any of that. Hospital has full power, so AC and hot food I can get daily. Should have plenty of gas through the week. Will most likely have to deal with the lines on weekend tho. If you want to see some fucked up shit, search for pics of Crystal Beach. Heard today the the covering was ripped to shreads at the Woodlands. :stunned: Hope the Toyota Center isn't fuckered and Coldplay try to cancel the show. :angry:

Angie I havent really talked to you much but, im really glad to hear that you and your family are ok!!! Hopefully this will end soon and you can go back to living your normal life!!! i hope for the best!!!

Wow a month with out no power!!! Thats insane! I saw the pictures of the beach, wow!!! Thats all I have to say, its pretty terrible!!! Ok well, keep safe and keep us updated on anything that happens!!!
