... so, now i'm sick.

Featured Replies

seriously, this is not fair. i've been looking forward to the next two gigs in hamburg and berlin for months now, i was reaally enthusiastic and excited and all that...

and what's happening now?

this morning i woke up at 6 am, my stomach was aching terribly and i felt so sick.

i mean, it's not like i'm not going. i'm going no matter what happens. but now i'm seriously worried that i won't be able to enjoy tomorrow night if i'm still feeling crappy.

we have standing tickets and will be at the venue around noon, so it will be quite exhausting, i guess.

:(

somebody do something, pleeaase!!!

... have to say i'm better now than i was this morning, though.

oh honey don't worry! i am sure you will be fine! the idea of going to the concert will just take the sickness away, believe me! positive thoughts to you! keep the faith ;)

Hope you'll feel better tomorrow ! get some rest, eat well and everything should be alright. If you dont feel good when surrounded by the crowd, dont be too hard on yourself.. I mean, it can get pretty ugly very fast.. faint and everything. But I'm sure it wont happen to you ! :) and I wish you an AWESOME show !

I was thinking that same problem could happen to me few days before the gig,I mean as a biggest Coldplay fan I would go even with two broken legs

aww I hope you feel better! see a doctor! maybe he can give you something...

and it's good to know that security is always very helpfull when it comes to people fainting and such so if you need to get out they will drag you over that fence and take care of you (and that's your cue for grabbing legs of chris)

If you have never felt this way before (at least not in the last days) or haven't eaten anything too acid, your stomach is aching most likely because you're too anxious to see them. It happens a lot some days before a highly anticipated event. Don't worry about that, see a doctor and he will give you some medication to relieve the pain, so you can fully enjoy your amazing moments :D

Til tomorrow don't eat much acid, avoid milk, coffee and fried food. Hope you feel better soon ;)

And if all else fails, you can show your appreciation by vomiting over Chris!!:P

:rolleyes:Some ideas...:laugh3:

The doctor says to get lots of rest, smile, and drink plenty of water or juice. Eat a few soda crackers if your stomach is upset, and just snuggle down and rest a bit. Think happy thoughts:nice:. You'll feel good in the morning, and back to normal!:)

Hope you feel better tomorrow!!

I had a sore throat and bellyache yesterday before the concert aswell, but during the concert I was feeling well and enjoyed the concert as if I'd been not sick. When the light went on in the end my throat started aching again, but during the whole concert I was fine!

Hope it will be same with you tomorrow!! :)

:rolleyes:Some ideas...:laugh3:

Chuck Kotzke??

:inquisitive:And just what is that supposed to mean??:laugh3: Sarah needs just to relax - I think Chis is right - too much excitement before any big event is overwhelming...

Ah, that sucks! But don't worry, I'm sure you'll have a good time! Just relax, and drink alots of water, that really helps!

Get well!

Ah, that sucks!

Are you sure you don't mean "That chucks"??:P

thanks everyone, you're so kind :)

i have to say i'm feelin way better today  yaaay!!!

and i don't think it was excitement ;) i mean, i don't see them for the first time and such things normally don't happen to me.

no idea what was wrong, tho.

anyway! i'm better and that's all that counts. sooo excited now!!! :cheesy: we're about to go to the venue :nice:

Yayyyy....I'm really happy for you Sarah....that you go to the concert tonight and that you feel better.....enjoy the show...:D

Great, now I am sick and the concert's in 3 days!

So typical that this happens.

I´m sick, too, but my concerts are over, wow, I´m lucky. Honestly I´d say that I got sick after I returned from the concert...maybe it was to much excitement :)

and CPRani: stay at home for the next three days and try to get well, soon! Or maybe Coldplay will heal you, that would be another idea :/

well, the first gig in hamburg was hard for me, i didn't feel well at all - nausea and stomach ache was bothering me the whole day. but i tried really hard to ignore that and it worked most of the time... it's impressive how you're able to forget you're feeling crappy as soon as the band is on stage ;)

and on the second day in berlin i felt much better, so all in all in could have been a lot worse.

thanks again for all your good wishes!

You'll get better, excitement always makes you feel better. We had a large stage production 3 weeks ago, i woke up feeling really bad but getting ready to go on stage during just lifted everything:smug2:

Have fun! Michael rocks! And he goes down to the crowd very often!

Well, I can't really stay home from school atm, but I am getting a little better, taking it easy. Im sure it will go away when I see Coldplay :).
