so i've been trying to figure out what this thing's good for for some time now, but i just can't explain it to myself.

well, what i'm talking about is a kohl sharpener.

hehehe. of course i do know what it's good for, but what the heck is that tiny stick thingy you can pull out good for?!

maybe it's so obvious and i don't get it. i just do not have a clue!

Oh, that's makeup. I thought it was a pencil.:embarassed:

Which should pretty much tell you how much I know about it in general... If I had money for random little things like eyeliner, I'd wear liquid stuff anyway. Since I don't I just steal my sister's for special occasions...

I'm no expert when it comes to make-up as well...

But I have a suspicion:

When you sharpen the pencil, it could be that it is just TOO sharp to come close to your eyes with it.

So you can turn the peak of the pencil in that round thingy until it is round enough to use.

Can anyone confirm that suspicion?

Hey girls, being the old experimented one around lol I can tell you this :

if you pull out this pin, you can use it to clean the blade. Since make up pencils are soft and oily, they tend to leave some matter on the blade, hence the handy pin.

does this help ?;)

edit - btw the above use is also good thanks Sue de Nimes.

i really have nooo idea what you're supposed to do for these things.

i, i really don't know.

WHY DO ALL THESE CONTRAPTIONS HAVE TO BE SO COMPLICATED?

i have like, three of them cause i always go makeup shopping with my friends and... i don't want to look like an idiot who buys new eyeliner every time the pencil wears.
