Just got my weekly email from Ticketmaster, and the NKOTB VIP package caught my eye. I had a look at one specific venue in the UK, to see if other bands offered similar packages.

Crowd-free merchandise shopping!

Discount coupon to the New Kids on the Block online store

£199 - Stevie Wonder - Hot Ticket Package Tickets

Guaranteed seats in the first 20 rows to see Stevie Wonder live in concert

Official tour gift

Official tour programme

Commemorative VIP laminate

£115 -Boyzone - Hot Ticket Package Tickets

Soooooo, if Coldplay offered something similar, would you go for it?

A total rip-off, and in my opinion, immoral.

It favours "the rich" rather than diehard fans.

If concerts are all-seaters, the best seats should be offered in a lottery, at little or no extra cost.;)

This is abhorrent, and not much different from what touts do by selling tickets at inflated prices.

Id even sell my soul to the devil for that!

Well that's very sad indeed.:dozey:

if you can just buy it it's not that unique anymore... but you know.. if I had a little extra stoicked up somehwre then yes maybe I would... though it's wayyy coooler to win something like that

I'd pay £280 for the NKOTB one...if it was Coldplay obviously.:P :idea2:

Certainly not for Old Kids On The Block!

I wouldn't even go if someone paid me.:P
