Matter-Eater Lad
Disaster such as a rich man not affording a yacht? Because that's all they care about. The only difference is which rich man. I'm mad because you act like Obama gives a shit about the little man, but his history show's he gives them some of the worst living conditions in the nation only to get his friends millions of dollars. You clearly do not have a grasp for history and what is going on, yet you don't mind putting full support in someone you know nothing of.
chuck kottke
You know, Obama's been poor, and so I trust that he might still remember what it's like to have to go through tough times. I've read the Audacity of Hope, and whether those lessons will remain fresh in his mind remains to be seen. And John McCain was an ardent supporter of campaign finance reform, and knew suffering as a POW. I have no misgivings about what they do to get where they are - and that's the problem with the process. The process can turn good men and women into political whores. But then what is the answer, in your humble opinion?
Matter-Eater Lad
Having been poor has nothing to do with leadership, nor corruption or anything really. Hitler was poor once......Stalin was poor once. McCain was poor once in a Vietnamese prison, maybe he remebers what it was like to be a hurt young man and never do bad to another human being after seeing war? Doubt it. Audacity of Hope is nothing more then brainwashing voters with cheap talk not backed up by anything. But then what is the answer A simple but hard answer. VOTE FOR CHANGE. 3rd parties are the answer. The more who vote for them this election, the more will vote in the next and after a while we can change things with bringing another party. You cannot vote for change by voting for those against change. It will take a while but if we act on our words for change we will one day get it. But everyone will talk of change and reform but vote for the same corrupt people and it will never happen. Because most have the same view as you, want change but vote for the lesser or 2 evils every election, while the 3rd parties slip through the cracks. Some people wanting change will vote for McCain because he's the lesser of two evils for them, and people like you will vote or support Obama and every election this same cycle will happen and the change we speak of will not. And we can only blame ourselves for creating the cycle. The mentality of voting for the lesser of the two evils is the problem when we have a choice for other less corrupt candidates. And also people fall for what the two major parties say, and believe there is a major difference in them. Each year they claim to be different less corrupt and people buy it, but its not true. BostonSportsTD
Obama(Bush's 3rd term) will use military action on Pakistan if were threatened. Sounds like BUSH'S FOREIGN POLICY. Are you guys sure he's a democrat? Big businesses best friend, stands up for the rich and corrupt and now says he won't take military action of the table with our ally who has nukes and a large already anti american crowd. Obama can threaten a war, its ok. Obama can help his rich friends and its ok. It's only wrong is Bush does it. that's the stupidest thing i've ever fucking heard. mccain has voted with bush 90% of the time. that is a fact. obama on the other hand is the most liberal member of the senate. sure some of the money he's gotten has been corrupt but that fact alone does not make him bush's third term. bush is a diehard conservative so don't try to tell me the most liberal member of the senate is going to turn out to be a conservative president. therefore it is more likely that mccain will be bush's 3rd term. which i think is a dumb concept to be thrown around anyway because i think both of them will be better than bush. no offense 'mrcool' but your posts are getting more and more ridiculous by the day. youre only trying to ruffle the feathers of all of the obama supporters on here. you claim you think both politicians are bad yet you have yet to take a negative stance against mccain. its always just obama. (sorry i quoted a post a page back but i didnt feel like reading through everything else you two had written)
Matter-Eater Lad
Bush and Obama both claim to be what they are not. Bush claims and fools people saying he's a conservative and he is not.(He's for big government, more spending, more laws) Obama clains to be liberal for the the little man (he is not, for large businesses and rich men) Both are very corrupt, and are in bed with rich lobbyist. How are they different again? Is talk all that matters, if two people are the same and they talk differently but act the same, they are different? You think talk changes what a man is, anyone that looks at the fact would disagree, look at actions not words. They fool people with their pseudo political leaning to get the vote. While voting and acting the opposite. In the end they both talk a different game, but they act the same with corruption and tricking their voters into thinking they are something else. Ever wonder why real liberals hate Obama? and real conservatives hate Bush?(I'll give you a hint, what they say and how they act are different)
Matter-Eater Lad
you claim you think both politicians are bad yet you have yet to take a negative stance against mccain I have said at least 50 times, and I'm not joking, that McCain and Obama are the same and McCain is just as corrupt. You've already admitted not to have read most of my posts..... I've posted a few articles on McCain's corruption. I've spent my time attacking both, just Obama more becase the people on here come to his defense, no one tried to defend McCain. If people were on here defending McCain's evil every 5 seconds, I'd be posting more negative attacks on him. But overall I've posted a ton of Anti McCain post's.(But you've admitted to not have read most of them)
