I flew home today and met a woman from Sri Lanka on the plane (she was just adorable by the way). And we were chatting, trying to understand one another with my Fargo/Canadian accent and her rough English, and at one point she gestured to my wrists and said "You like bangles? You like lots of bangles?" and then asked if I had gone to Brazil to get them, because "Women in Brazil wear so many bangles." :nice:

 

She's apprehensive about moving here to IL because of the snow. "I don't like! I don't like!" she kept saying! teehee. ;)
