Lost man crashes car into map store

A New York City resident crashed his car into a map shop after getting lost this week.

 

Rodney Bailey was driving his Ford Expedition SUV out of a parking garage when he took a wrong turn and smashed into the window of a Hagstrom Map store.

 

Two women were hospitalised with minor injuries after being clipped by the vehicle, but police ruled that the incident was an accident and allowed Bailey to drive away one hour later.

 

Meanwhile, shop owners decided to stay open for business as usual as they dealt with the debris resulting from the crash.

 

The incident took place on the city's West 43rd Street.
