ahhhhhhhh so happy right now knowing that Coldplay has a postcard I sent them! I hope they make a small video or take pictures showing some of the cards...then maybe I'd know if mine made it across the ocean :P But I'm so excited anyway to hear the news that I'm just going to assume it reached the boys :)

ok, i said i wouldn't say this in the thread because i thought it might get peoples' hopes up UNREALISTICALLY high, but keep in mind that this was JUST A DREAM. but two nights ago i actually had a dream about the project. i was watching the grammys (well, an awards show--i assume it was the grammys) and coldplay was performing, i think lovers in japan. and instead of having a video or something on the bigscreen in back of them, they were showing a slideshow of our postcards while they played on live TV :wacky:

That would be absolutely positively FREAKING AWESOME. I know it's only a dream but anything's possible right? :P

i can't believe we pulled all this off, with huge amounts of help from debs :bigcry:. that first night, i figured we were all onto something because everyone was so into it and the poll numbers were huge, but i almost never fully expected it to reach this point. it's not that i expected it to fail, but i just didn't expect it to be this huge, either, nowhere near it. i'm really curious as to how many cards were sent in.

 

i also find it hilarious that i was so involved :lol:. if i recall correctly, all i did was offer to draft a letter to get the ideas flowing, and everyone was like "that's great, just send that" :laugh4:. i think i got so involved because people kept saying i was more or less right on with the things i was writing, so i just kept going, and i'm also a huge geek and like to organize things and write instructions :P. also, i had a LOT of uni work to do at the time, and i always tend to get most into coldplaying when i have uni work to do :P.

 

anyway, it's just weird to have the whole thing almost OVER. i can't believe we pulled it off! all that's left now is the surprise :bomb:

Haha, those first few nights were crazy, I think I almost pulled a couple of all-nighters... Especially that first night! :P

 

I still remember when we were trying to decide if we should leave a giant package on the Bakery doorstep, and wondering if the Bakery had a mail slot :lol:

Coldplaying members are awesome, we can work together even if we live like a million miles away :lol:

Its strange to think about for me too. I remember reading something about this when it was jussst getting started... I always find these kinds of things too late, so I remember being so excited to find that I hadn't missed out on this. And I can't think of a better project to be a part of. This band just means so much to me :nice: And everybody here made the world seem so small and wonderful. This is exactly what the world should be like all the time :P

I agree!! It feels like it's been so long since the conception of this idea.. It's been such a journey :lol: it's really amazing to think about

I'm happy too Lore! I also remember how every night it would always end up being you, me and Chelsea on the board anxiously worrying about weird little details and talking about The Beatles :lol:

 

Oh man, this plus the Chris interviews/sessions makes this the best Coldplay-day in a while! (even though I've only heard one interview and one acoustic session so far, I know the rest will be awesome too!)
