I don't know :uhoh: I started talking about it randomly one day.

But it has now taken a life of its own :uhoh:

:D

Okay, I see ...

So unless the guys won't come up with a song called 'Jaffa Love' it won't be linked to Coldplay in any way, I guess :laugh3:

I highly doubt it will be this monday ...

There will probably be loads of news because of the Grammy's and then there should be more tour dates news added.

I really don't think that they add any news to this load concerning the 'PFFAP'

Of course I can be wrong, but I would reckon' it's wednesday or later .... :(

JAFFA-CAKE RECIPES :smug:

Jaffa Cakes recipe

ingredients

2 eggs

50 g (2 oz) sugar

65 g (2 1/2 oz) self-raising flour, sieved

approx. 60 ml (4 tbsp) marmalade, sieved

100 g (4 oz) plain chocolate

rind of 1/4 orange, finely grated

10 ml (2 tsp) corn oil

15 ml (1 tbsp) water

method

1. Whisk the eggs and sugar until thick and creamy; when the whisk

is lifted the mixture leaves a trail.

2. If using a hand whisk put the bowl over a pan of hot water, then

fold in the flour.

3. Spoon the mixture into 18 well-greased, round-bottomed patty tins.

4. Bake for about 10 minutes at 200°C (400°F) Gas 6 until golden brown.

Cool on a wire rack.

5. Spread a little marmalade over each cake.

6. Put the chocolate, orange rind, oil and water into a bowl over a pan

of hot water.

7. Stir well until melted. Cool until the chocolate starts to thicken

and then spoon over the marmalade. Leave to set.

90g/3½oz caster sugar

2 eggs

50g/2oz plain flour

75g/3oz/6 tbsp orange marmalade or apricot jam

125g/4¼oz plain chocolate

1.Preheat the oven to 190ºC/375ºF/Gas 5. Grease a muffin or cake tin.

2.Stand a mixing bowl in very hot water for a couple of minutes to heat through, keeping the inside dry. Put the sugar and eggs in and whisk with an electric mixer until light and frothy and the beaters leave a ribbon trail when lifted. Sift flour and stir in gently with a large metal spoon.

3.Divide the mixture among the cake tins. Bake for 10 mins until just firm and pale golden around the edges. Using a palette knife lift from the tins and transfer to a wire rack to cool.

4.Press the marmalade or jam through a sieve to remove any rind or fruit pieces. Spoon a little of the jam on to the centre of each cookie.

5.Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water. Heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. (I put my chocolate (as long as it's over 70% cocoa solids in a bowl in the microwave and heat at half power for 30 secs at a time until it is melted.)

6.Spoon a little chocolate on to the top of each cookie and spread gently to the edges with a palette knife. Once the chocolate had just started to set, very gently press it with the back of a fork to give it a textured surface. Leave to set for at least 1 hour.

So unless the guys won't come up with a song called 'Jaffa Love' it won't be linked to Coldplay in any way, I guess :laugh3:

They wrote a song called "Ode to Deodorant", so anything is possible ;)

Since this thread is so popular can anyone who hasn't voted for Coldplay for the Brit Awards click my Chris banner and do so now? :nice:

Thanks :D

I've clicked on Chris' armpit like 6 times now.... :P

They wrote a song called "Ode to Deodorant", so anything is possible ;)

So when this radio thingy was running were people texted some words which Chris had to use in a song (Shrimps & Aubergine :laugh3: ) someone should have texted 'Jaffa Cakes' instead :wink3:

Since this thread is so popular can anyone who hasn't voted for Coldplay for the Brit Awards click my Chris banner and do so now? :nice:

Thanks :D

Where did you get that from? Is it yours?

Maybe we should all wear yellow shirts for the Wembley concerts with the artwork discussed on the front and on the back with the writing 'Jaffa Warrior' :laugh3:
