and yes it's jaffa cakes and kitties.. I actually have never tried the jaffa cakes or anything like it.. but I am not sure I would want to try one though..:embarassed:

Haha how spooky, Jaffa Cakes just got discussed on Coronation Street (British soap on TV) and the fact that there was a high court ruling on whether they were biscuits or cakes and what tax was payable on them. I think they decided they were biscuits in the end.

 

They probably wouldn't be that difficult to make, cook a sponge cake in a large tin so it comes out quite flat, cut circles out when it's cold. Put a bit of orange jam/jelly/maramlade on top in a blob and cover in melted chocoalte.

i know debs says she doesn't work on weekends, but i still have some hope for tomorrow and sunday. she's hinted that it might be something posted on the website, and i think it's taken so long because whatever it is needs to be edited and processed by web techs or something, and they're the ones that would post it once it's ready. something tells me whatever it is, if it's more than a blog, is out of debs's hands right now, and that the web tech guys have lots on their plates this week so they haven't gotten to it yet. but stuff DOES get posted on the official site on weekends, so i think there's hope, especially if debs isn't the one posting it, and i don't think she is. that's just me completely speculating, though :wink:

doesn't nessecairely have to be a debs post, could also be R42 or prospekt...

^exactly my point: i highly doubt it'll be a debs post: it'll either just be a post or a R42 post, i think, and we know that those sorts of things go up on weekends :wink:

 

i've also just eaten the chocolate off a jaffa cake before :lol:. i completely dissected the thing and separated the sponge from the orange squidgy bit. it was rather fun :shy:
