Serious question: girl's period

Featured Replies

Hi this is kind of accord :embarassed: but I'm really concerned about it so I will ask I would say girls but maybe some man around really knows about it. This is very personal so take it seriously here I go:

My girlfriend tells me she bleeded (don't know if the term is other) like 2 weeks before the time, she says her period starts by the end of the month and this happened to her a couple days ago. She and I have never been together but she was sad cause her aunt thinks we did it and doesn't believe her. We went on a date 3 days before that happened and her aunt told her that it might be beacuse she had relations and we didn't but I wonder if... you know... other things, not such strong things, that are close let's say "outer sex" or something like that's called you know making out or something like that could also cause such irregularity in her period. I really care about it cause I read somewher this might be bad so, she doesn't seem to be that concerned but I am, should she go to the doctor????

Thanks

Irregularities can happen sometimes, and it doesn't sound like that should affect it, 'cuz... it doesn't

Some Girls get this all the time, others never do, I don't think you need to worry about it, womens body is weirrddd. Especially if your girlfriend is not using THE PILL, I guess it's quite natural to bleed in between.

Even if you had been together, it probably wouldn't have caused this.

goodluck!

No, it's completely normal. Trust me your girlfriend has no problems or concerns. Sometimes stress or emotional uprises can cause periods to skip or do the opposite and last for months. My mother and sister once had periods that lasted for close to two months because of the death of family members and I *hopefully no one knows me personally on here* lost my period for over a year because of stress but it's all good now. They work themselves out naturally, you don't need medicine or vitamins. The body will find it's own balance. So, a doctor is unnecessary

yup, it's totally normal. There most likely isn't anything to worry about

Hi, hear the wise women here ^^^ totally true, totally natural :)

and I would add, dont believe the fuss her aunt, and others, create around the woman cycle, cause it mostly comes out of ignorance and is often only meant to make you feel guilty.

Yes it is totally natural indeed. I am no doctor so this is the only thing I can say about this...

I can also tell you that it's pretty normal..... I know someone who this has happened to. Sometimes it's called Mittelschmerz.....

google it if you want more information :)

Sometimes it's called Mittelschmerz.....

And now I know another German loan word in the English language!!

I agree that it CAN be normal. Stress, excitement, everything can lead to an irregular bleeding.

If she's starting to have pains she should go to see a doctor of course.

It can be normal to even bleed for a month once in a while - but if this is not an exception an endometriosis should be ruled out...

thanks a lot girls, you're great :) it's just that I read several things and very few said it could be something bad and since she told me it had never happened, that it was very weird... I guess I forgot for a second that she's way too innocent, I've had to explain to her things she should know more than I :D
